So the other day my neighbour gave me a big plate of home made banana bread, today she knocks on my door and gives me a bowl of sticky toffee pudding with cream and ice cream on top. I'm feeling happy.

This is a nice post. Probably the nicest I have seen on this forum.

Just found out YouTube retired the old Inbox in favor of "Messages" and I had a chance to save all my stuff, too bad I'm 3 months late.....almost a decade of private messages gone....

I'm happy these days.

Weeks feels like days and the sun goes down near 7 PM now.

Spring's for real doing its thing in my area. 11 degree Celcius, sunny weather and such a beautiful blue sky. Crocuses and galanthus flowers are everywhere.

Mosquitoes are dancing the sunlight near the lake while I spend my time outside, in T-shirt, with my dog and my surroundings.

There is a possibility that I will be visiting Japan in the somewhat near future. I sure hope the people there are nicer than most of the people that want to be there.

buy me an Ibanez AS 200 while you're there.

TIL that 9 months of savings amount to $450. Time to buy like two tires for my car.

My parents got into a huge fight today. They get into one every few weeks. But I think they've finally hit their limit. They're tired of these fights and just want to end it. My mom brought up the idea of divorcing my dad. Now I just feel so lost and confused.

Anyone whose parents have been divorced, give me some info. Why did it happen, what happened after the divorce, who'd you live with, etc.

My parents divorce when I was about 8. To this day, neither have answered my questions on why it happened. Pretty messy though, lots of arguing, paperwork, yelling. Horrible. I lived with my oldest sister and my brother in law for a few months, as during said divorce I was all bit nonexistent to my parents. Now I have a stepfather, who I absolutely hate.

Still. I hope things work out for you. Maybe it's for the best.

Lovely girl talks to me on facebook

We engage in a nice conversation

I ask her if she has a boyfriend

She says "yes"

I ask "who is he"

She says she won't tell for no reason at all, I'm almost sure it's a lie

I've just shaved my hair, and I feel reborn. I think it's nice to change look from time to time, I believe it increases your self-esteem and confidence. I regularly shaved my hair back in the days, but I didn't for four months or so, and as a result my hair became ridiculously long, so I decided to cut it back. I didn't like myself with that mess on my head, it made me look depressed and careless. Actually, I was living a pretty depressive moment, and I let the bad things to drag me down. So, cutting my hair is kind of a metaphor of cutting away the bad things from my life. I feel the need to take back control of my own life, "reboot" myself, and let go the painful memories away. I miss laying on my back on the sable watching falling stars. I miss to surprise myself, the joy given by the first experiences - there's a quote from the movie American Beauty that says "It's a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself. Makes you wonder what else you can do that you've forgotten about", now everything seems to be done already, and I miss that feeling. I don't know, I miss to be in love; yeah... in love with myself, with the world, with the Universe. I was a brilliant person some time ago, and I want to become "me" again. I used to live every day as the first day of the rest of my life. I just want to live my way of living.

It's funny how McDonald's always uses upbeat commercials, showing young trendy people eating their food and enjoying life. They never take the time to brag about their food, because they know it's sh*t, and they know their customers think it's sh*t as well.

The only McDonald's in our town closed a few weeks ago, and I really couldn't give less of a sh*t. I can think of 10 fast food places off the top of my head that are close by and better. In fact, pretty much any fast food restaurant in the country is better.

That's great, man! And yes, if shaving your beard makes you look better when you stare at yourself in the mirror, I can say it increased your self-esteem. Also, now that I shaved my hair, I'm freezing - haha!

Now it has become a massive case of dread.

I got paid. Way less than I thought I was going to get paid.

Way less.

But at least me and Mary Jane can get a reacquainted again.

But tbh I might spend some money on some other things I've wanted for awhile , and might not have enough for a g anymore D:

My company are paying for me to go to New York for a week for some training (I live in the UK), and I've been given the OK to take my girlfriend along with me. All we have to pay for is her flights and our food when we're there, my flight and all the accommodation are covered by the company. I'm hopefully going to meet up with someone I've known on here for over 10 years, for the first time ever.

I'm feeling pretty magnificent right now.

Signatures are dumb anyway.

They don't flavour their rice with burnt human face, that's how. It's alright though, I was drunk and wanted to butter some toast, I warmed the knife by holding it on an electric hob - then to check if it was warm I pressed it against by thumb [cue the loss of all my layers of skin].

Also, especially in rural parts of china, I imagine they probably eat food just to, y'know, live and stuff.

I feel pretty grateful. I returned from a meeting to find this little book at my desk, and when I opened it I found a bottle of Jameson inside. A gift from a vendor. Then when I got home, I was playing outside with my boy and this lady walks up with a large stuffed tiger and gives it to us. Turns out she was one of the people I helped dig out of the street a few weeks ago in the big snowstorm and she wanted to thank me. Almost makes up for the mistake of buzzing my kid's hair...

Well, Karma's a bit- oh wait, this doesn't work here, does it?

I'm glad to hear people still care about each other. In the places where I live, it's mostly free for all. A great example would be my dear politicians who steal millions of euros and only get a few years of jail. Love 'em all!

We have plenty of that here too, politicians, CEOs and the rich live by a different standard than the rest of us. The rest of us try to be decent... well, some of us... most of the time...

Still better than nothing. I'm not surprised, but certainly feel a bit better after reading your posts.

I'm not saying that I'm a saint, but there were moments where I've done what many others around me would have not, and that makes me feel a bit better.

You know, McDonalds milkshakes are fine and all, but I have to say that it's really my milkshakes that bring the boys to the yard. And, you know, they're like, better than those. Damn right, they are better than those. I could easily teach them, but ... you know, I'd have to charge. I know that you want it.

You offer delectable dairy comestibles, for purchase, in an establishment built for purpose, which is also your residence; cater to a clientèle that is mainly male - offer tutorials to the manufacture of the products that you sell, which is provided as an instructional DVD, sent through the mail?

Both superior, in terms of quality and quantity, are the products that you sell than your nearest competitor's, that you guarantee it, and should people be dissatisfied - then the milkshake is free (as a compromise of short-term economic sensibility and long-term customer loyalty).
