On the subject of school, I got a 30 out of 36 on the ACT. Keep in mind that I'm in 7th grade and the ACT is a high school level test. Apparently, that's really good. I'm pretty happy about that.

 

If you're being legit right now, then that's awesome man. Some people may be able to claim large e-peen sizes on forums with their super advanced interwebz socialization "skills", but with those scores you're actually gonna go places in life. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

 

Edit: apparently the average ACT score is 20-21 out of 36, and you got 30. At 7th grade. That's crazy bro.

I feel like there are some things i still want to do in this life,

such as traveling to some places i've always wanted.

Meeting a people or two.

Attending an event of my interest.

And if everything goes right; i'm able to do that within the next couple of years.

My plan is to see how everything goes - and if i happen to find a purpose

or meaning to my life, i will continue keep on going.

Right now, i'm feeling like there's nothing for me,

expect those things, my goals, hopes and dreams, to try and achieve within the next two or three years.

Hah, i'm only 21 years old, this should be the happiest time of one's life -

and yet, i can't find any meaning to this.

I feel like i don't belong in this sick society, all i want to do is to be free.

Maybe death shall set me free then. I dunno really. Feels all weird thinking about it.

Not that I want to die yet though, no.

But before that, like i said, i'm going to make a few of my travels and other things I mentioned above -

and just see if i happen to find a purpose and meaning to carry on.

When i'm on the road - i feel free. And that's what's driving me on.

Just packing your pack and staying away from all of this, even for a little while.

That's what it's all about for me now.

Feeling pretty good except for the fact that my school feels like a freezer. Also York University and University of Toronto are closer cause the teachers are on strike. Something similar happend a few years ago.

Don't let when other people think you should be having a blast effect how you feel about "now." Everyone is different, everyone's "happiest times" are different... during the "fun" times in college for me I was dealing with grief and death, during the "magical" time of having a newborn I was dealing with the panic of having only one salary to support three humans. I loved life at times when a lot of people hated it. F*ck peoples expectations, f*ck charts and milestones.

Turning 23 tomorrow (the 4th) and when I was younger I envisioned being in different circumstances than I am now. Wish I could go back a few years and be 19/20 and make better life decisions and not mess up relationships, my academics etc.

 

Yes I know people say don't live life with regrets, but I've had a few in my time.

 

Got friends who are progressing with their lives, having kids, traveling the world, having great jobs and I'm just slowly chugging along.

 

I don't know, feels like life is going by fast, wish I could slow it down sometimes.

OT: Zoobz, you're only 24. My mother didn't do her degree until she was 28 or so and had a child (me, little obnoxious runt I was). Just because your friends are succeeding right now doesn't mean you can't. Having kids and travelling aren't even things I want to do with my life. Ask yourself what you want to do and aim for the qualifications that will lead you there.

 

Relationships are a clusterf*ck--just be glad you have experience.
