I've been sick today, like, SICK, flu and sh*t...

It just gets worse each day.

Also, I feel like I have complained about my life some time ago, but in fact, everything was pretty good.

Now that it turned into real sh*t...

I probably bothered many complaining about it, and it wasn't even that bad.

Helped out a dude with his problems today. It felt really good to help.

I was supposed to be doing homework, but that felt like a much more productive use of my time.

My heart literally stopped when I saw this holy grail in my local Walmart last night. I had no idea they were making this gift from god again.

Call me a fatass all you want. This sh*t was expensive it cost $4.80 but it was worth it. I had a bowl of it this morning and it felt like I was in 2001 again :,)

This made me break down...

*Not written by me*

"I am only 24 years old, yet I have actually already chosen my last tie. Its the one that I will wear on my funeral a few months from now. It may not match my suit, but I think its perfect for the occasion.

The cancer diagnosis came too late to give me at least a tenuous hope for a long life, but I realized that the most important thing about death is to ensure that you leave this world a little better than it was before you existed with your contributions . The way Ive lived my life so far, my existence or more precisely the loss of it, will not matter because I have lived without doing anything impactful.

Before, there were so many things that occupied my mind. When I learned how much time I had left, however, it became clear which things are really important. So, I am writing to you for a selfish reason. I want to give meaning to my life by sharing with you what I have realized:

Dont waste your time on work that you dont enjoy. It is obvious that you cannot succeed in something that you dont like. Patience, passion, and dedication come easily only when you love what you do.

Its stupid to be afraid of others opinions. Fear weakens and paralyzes you. If you let it, it can grow worse and worse every day until there is nothing left of you, but a shell of yourself. Listen to your inner voice and go with it. Some people may call you crazy, but some may even think youre a legend.

Take control of your life Take full responsibility for the things that happen to you. Limit bad habits and try to lead a healthier life. Find a sport that makes you happy. Most of all, dont procrastinate. Let your life be shaped by decisions you made, not by the ones you didnt.

Appreciate the people around you Your friends and relatives will always be an infinite source of strength and love. That is why you shouldnt take them for granted.

It is difficult for me to fully express my feelings about the importance of these simple realizations, but I hope that you will listen to someone who has experienced how valuable time is.

I'm not upset because I understand that the last days of my life have become meaningful. I only regret that I will not be able to see a lot of cool stuff that should happen soon like the creation of AI, or Elon Musks next awesome project. I also hope that the war in Syria and Ukraine will end soon.

We care so much about the health and integrity of our body that until death, we dont notice that the body is nothing more than a box - a parcel for delivering our personality, thoughts, beliefs and intentions to this world. If there is nothing in this box that can change the world, then it doesnt matter if it disappears. I believe that we all have potential, but it also takes a lot of courage to realize it.

You can float through a life created by circumstances, missing day after day, hour after hour. Or, you can fight for what you believe in and write the great story of your life. I hope you will make the right choice.

Leave a mark in this world. Have a meaningful life, whatever definition it has for you. Go towards it. The place we are leaving is a beautiful playground, where everything is possible. Yet, we are not here forever. Our life is a short spark in this beautiful little planet that flies with incredible speed to the endless darkness of the unknown universe. So, enjoy your time here with passion. Make it interesting. Make it count!

Thank you!"

i was pretty pissed to find out the new season of house of cards wasn't on netflix here in my country. I was even more pissed once i got a shaky vpn going and saw what else isn't on. it's like, not even half of what's in the US netflix. and there's no indicator whatsoever telling you about this. #1stworldproblems for sure, but still

i'll try out one of those DNS sites and get me a subscription if it's worth it. i rather pay a bit more and actually have something from paying for netflix. as is, my "unofficial" streaming solutions trump it in every aspect except image quality.

I remember having a guy get shot in my old neighborhood from a drug deal gone bad, i was 10 and was freaking out when i looked out my window and seen a dozen of cops on my neighbors property as well as mine surrounding the house. It was pretty shocking stuff when you are that young but now I probably wouldn't even be phased by it.

so here's the layout

* I'm coming home from work, I take some selfies in the church grounds,

* I'm their for 2 minutes max and security rocks up,

* Theirs an older, more historically significant church, across the road, I took plenty of photo's of it around the same time of night, on the same day off the week a month back and no one bothered me and i was their for longer and acting way more sus IMO considering the poor lighting would make it hard to see the phone in my hand.............

Firstly what's this world coming too ? I'm all for a church having good security, That's great but shouldn't we be taking the convict built church that seriously ? That makes me sad for a whole list of reasons, Main of being it's over 100 years old.....

Then you have the morality issue, granted I wasn't polite to the security guard because it's a church the safest and most welcoming place on earth..... and he was messing with that, I was offended to say the least,

My whole thing is what if someone is feeling down and wants to be with god ? Fair enough the security guard might be understanding and god forbid he might listen or let you stay but i still think it's pretty wrong to harass people in or around the house of god,

I think people should be aloud to enter the church grounds and be with god day or night, If people vandalize the place societies f*cked, but they have cameras and great security how much harm could a person really do ? the police stations 1 minute drive away if that,

it just makes me sad, a sad panda, religion is supposed to be good and help people, if i can't go and sit with god when my lifes going to hell than what good is the church, really ? I

Sometimes you don't want to talk to people you just want to bond one on one with god, My way has been taking photo's of both churches for historical reasons, and this is the plague he sent upon me ? I was trying to honour you my lord please don't f*ck with me, i've been f*cked with enough

Wow. Intense dude... did the guy die?I'm not to entirely sure. I didn't see where he got shot as there was a van blocking him. Heard the gun shots go off and saw him laying down, not moving from the view under the van. Then I just saw the shooter take off into some car then drove off. never bothered to look into what happened to him. Nor did much change to my nabiorhood after the event.

Snip.

Yeah there wasn't much of a scene on my end. Which is why it's kinda stuck up at the top of my head. Edited by Tali vas Normandy

That dress going viral is white and golden yellow to me. I'm not confused about it.

It's blue with black.

Reminds me of one of my childhood memories in LA...

When i was about 4 or 5, there was a shootout outside of my house, which prompted me to look out the window and thats when i saw some guy lying on the floor motionless and two guys running off.

Minutes later the whole neighborhood was out, myself included, to get a closer look as the paramedics came and were attempting CPR on him.

From inside the crowd of people gathered around, someone was heard asking "is he gonna live?"

To which the paramedic said "yes, his heart is beating but dangerously slow" and continued pumping the victims chest.

Right after that question was asked, someone emerged from the crowd with a calm demeanor, pulled a gun out, and shot 4 times at the victim, with one shot to the head that broke off a chunk of skull from the guy, and with one shot hitting the paramedic, and after the shooter was done shooting, i remember him calmly saying "not anymore" and then ran off into the panicking crowd.

That shooter was the same guy who asked if the victim was gonna live, and one of the 2 guys i saw running away when the initial shooting took place.

Tough sh*t to witness at a young age.

I feel weird and sad. I just wish I could get a small boat and go on a solitary, tranquil fishing trip. Damn, I need some sleep. Lots of it...

I've never heard of such a thing. My suggestion would be to fix yourself something to eat. Then smoke a fatty afterwards.
