A giant tree fell over in my front yard because it rained and was windy for a whole day here in Southern Cali, which never happens...luckily my house isn't damaged but now I have to deal with a giant f*cking tree that's leaning against my house yes I'm posting this twice...it's just annoying the sh*t out of me

People my age I know are already getting married and having kids........I feel like kind of.......behind or... something.

No need to feel that way, focus on yourself and your own progression. People your age could be living in castles it makes no difference because life is about the progression you have made for yourself. Take inspiration from others if they're where you want to be but don't let it get you down. Focus on what you need to do to make progress even if it means making decisions that others may think are somehow inferior.

I badly want to just leave where i live & just move somewhere else. Like a completely different coast. Im just tired of all the snobby, stuck up, pushy, impatient people that live up here. The weather also annoys me too like one days its raining and another its 20 degrees & snowing, its brutal on me especially having allergies around this time of the year. The city just feels dead to me after living here my whole life & theres not much really to do besides bars on the southside, catch a movie, sports games, or resturants.

 

Ive been to the carolinas & florida more times then i remember and the people down there are so chill & so friendly. The weather is nice & the overall vibe is just cool. Hell i would love to move to somewhere in Cali as well and theres SO much do & many sites to see, you could NEVER get bored over there. One day im gonna make enough & then im out this b*tch.

The west coast is a bit pricey, but I think you'll like the vibe out here man! People are really laid back, Califoania alone seems like 2 states smushed into 1 with landscapes and cities, with northern and southern being two completely different places. Even Washington and Oregon are diverse and beautiful, albeit rainy and very cloudy, but that rain is also what keeps it green over here.

My cousins are the best. I don't always click with people, but with my cousins they love me for who I am and vice versa. I'm lucky to be so close with my family. I just spent the night watching Christmas movies with them, and it made me realize...i'm pretty lucky. I love them to death. I need to spend more time with them

My cousins are over a thousand miles away from me in North Carolina and I'm not very close with them because the last time I've seen them was 2011, and before that it was when I was too young to remember.

 

I can't wait til I get my first car. I just want to get away when I want, like take a drive all of the way out to the countryside (it's really close by) and then find a route back into town.

Get off it, people aren't like what you see on Facebook. Everyone has problems, but people mostly post positive things about their life. You feel down because you only compare their positive parts of life with yours as a whole.

 

But that's certanly not an excuse to start procrastinating

But screw them, screw them all. I can survive without friends,as long as my games are with me. After confessing that, I guess I am a no life and an antisocial person. But I'm alright with it.

There's a quote by John Marston in Red Dead Redemption I really like that says: "We all need friends, old-timer. We die alone, but we live among men." and I strongly agree with this statement.

 

On the other hand, I believe that loneliness is needed to know yourself better and consequently other people. In fact, Erich Fromm said: "Paradoxically, the ability to be alone is the condition for the ability to love."

 

As a result, friendship is very important in a man's life, but if you can't be comfortable with yourself when you're alone, you'll never be able to be comfortable when you are with other people. You have to find a balance between the two.

You're not behind and what you're doing sounds fine, you're only 20.

Having kids at young age is awful, and a lot of times the couples who had kids that time fall apart because they weren't emotionally mature enough at first, and the kid suffers the most at the end

If you don't feel like marrying and having kids, the best thing you can do is not marry and have kids. So basically, you're doing the best thing you could possibly do in your situation

Don't do either because you feel you have to, especially not kids. Besides, you're only 20 (if your profile is correct). The only thing that's slightly time-sensitive is having kids, you can marry at any age.
