I hope so too. I'm gonna try and smooth things over. thanks for listening. :)

I know this is trite and cliched (and I never really got it until my son was born), your folks act that way because they love you. It can suck, my best friend growing up had parents from your region and I know they are even more demanding than mine, but it's still just love. And a lot of it is temporary, while they will always stick their nose in your business, it'll be less and less frequently as you grow up.

Good luck man. :alien:

To be honest I don't want to just stop talking to her, she still means a lot to me but I really don't know if I can just go on as if nothing happened.

It really sounds like the best thing is to leave her in the past. I know how it feels, how you want to keep talking to her, but it's like heroin... feels good when you're high, but it's doing way more harm than good.

You can stay in contact with her if you want. unless you think you cant hold your emotions. if you cant stop the feelings for her, and its pretty hard. then quit man. it wont do you good.

I badly want to just leave where i live & just move somewhere else. Like a completely different coast. Im just tired of all the snobby, stuck up, pushy, impatient people that live up here. The weather also annoys me too like one days its raining and another its 20 degrees & snowing, its brutal on me especially having allergies around this time of the year. The city just feels dead to me after living here my whole life & theres not much really to do besides bars on the southside, catch a movie, sports games, or resturants.

Ive been to the carolinas & florida more times then i remember and the people down there are so chill & so friendly. The weather is nice & the overall vibe is just cool. Hell i would love to move to somewhere in Cali as well and theres SO much do & many sites to see, you could NEVER get bored over there. One day im gonna make enough & then im out this b*tch.

lmfao. thats an accurate description. i fell in love with an older chick back when i was around 17, she was like 20. it was wrong in every way, but i was a reckless douche back then and didnt care. it felt like heaven at moments and at other times it felt like a living hell. was a bad experience. took me a long time to slow down and realize how bad its been damaging me.

Alright f*ck it, there's really no point in hiding it anymore so I'll just say it no matter how stupid it sounds. She's someone from the forum, yeah yeah spare me the long distance talk. We were going to meet this summer.

Well that makes it simpler. You'll get over it pretty quick once you find new people to talk to as much as you two (presumably) did. It sucks for sure, but you'll get over it quick even if it doesn't seem like it at the moment.

If this is how you handle an online 'breakup' then I'm worried about you'll handle a real life breakup.

Surprisingly, I handle them much better. It feels so hard because she's EXACTLY the same as me personality wise. And I haven't met anyone this similar to me.

So what's going to happen when you meet a girl you actually click with in real life, then?

Relationships work best if you aren't the same as your partner. A little ying to your ... yang...

It never clicked this well for me with other girls, I'm afraid. I'll get over it but I really felt the need to vent.

Just remember how much easier it is to click with someone when you both have tons of time to consider every reply, every image, every single aspect in which you can represent yourself.

Can't he, you know, make his own coffee? All it takes is 2 minutes.

Just sayin'

It is the wife's job to brew the coffee in the morning, as her husband is the breadwinner in the house. He needs his rest and morning coffee in order to work hard for that day.He could, but it's my job. I'm a homemaker. I stay home and take care of the kid, house, & husband (also to play GTA & destiny haha). He works a hard job 50-70 hours a week so I can stay home. Plus, I don't like him fiddling with things in the kitchen. Lol that's my space in the house and I don't like people touching anything in there.

South Carolina is the better Carolina. Just throwing that out there. :)

As someone who has done exactly what you're thinking, (including moving a different coast, to California), I say do it. Though I'll also say that if you don't like pushy, stuck up people as you say, then CA might not be the best place to go-- they're just pushy in a different way than east coasters IMO. Lots of "I'm sort of a big deal" types out there too (esp. LA and SF), but some great people if you look and the northern third of the state is very laid back.

Myrtle Beach is so gross. Charleston is pretty cool though, and Beaufort is gorgeous. Just stay away from Spartanburg & Columbia...they suck.

How far is Beaufort from MB?About 3 1/2 hours south. Well worth it though if you're into nature & beaches without all the commercial areas like in MB.

I hate when teachers make you take things to other teachers. I had to take his huge art book to my art teacher, and I hate that feeling where everyone stares at you when you walk in, especially when someone you kinda know is in there. My ex girlfriends best friend was in there and I could just feel her staring at me as I talked to the teacher. Then after I left i got super hot and itchy everywhere on my body, which always happens when I get bad anxiety.

My complaints sound so juvenile and whiny, but for an anxious person like me everything is a challenge. But beyond my social problems, today has been pretty good so far.

I feel stressed. Two weeks left until winter break, and I got two tests left. One in geography (which I hate) and social science (which I like). I've also got a technology-and-science paper that I have to write.

I'm glad that christmas is coming soon, but then I have to work with math and spanish in the break since I suck at both.

Hello, Geoffrey Windslow, mountaineer, here. You know, I once had a similar situation back when I was a Mountain Ranger by lake Winnipesaukee. As I was gathering lumber to forge my teams nighty bonfire, I was approached by a pack of grizzly bears. Similar to your dilemma, I was overwhelmed with fear just by the sight of these creatures. In those fearful moments I remembered what my pop taught me just before he passed. Harness your fear, embrace it, own it. In life you will find very few things you will be able to control, but social interaction is one of those few things. You need to take control of the situation, grab it by the horns, ride it, and make it call you daddy. Remaining cool calm and collective at all times will bring you success and confidence. Needless to say I killed 6 of the 7 bears in that pack, roughing up the last to go back home and tell his friends.

Never forget your ABCs, Always Be Cool, and you can never go wrong, sport.

Truly yours,

Geoffrey Windslow, former part-time volunteer Middle school Sexual Education Instructor, and Mountain Ranger.
