How is it already November man? It's kind of freaking me out a little bit. There's only this month and then like 2 weeks in December until Winter break and the end of the semester. That's half of the school year...my final year of high school. If this first semester went by fast, next semester is going to go by even faster. I'm gonna graduate and then i'll have to actually be responsible and do sh*t for myself, no more spoon fed high school to attend. Damn, where is the time going? I'm excited, but i'm also kinda scared.

 

On another note, I can't believe it's already been a year since my grandma died. This month last year was a very sad time. I remember the day the cancer took her away. I got picked up after school by my dad, which was odd cause usually my my mom picked me up and my dad was supposed to be at work. I was in a good mood and I was kinda joking around with my dad, but he remained silent, along with my little sister in the back seat. My dad finally said " your grandma passed away this morning" and instantly my cheery loud mood died down to a depressing silence. I knew she would be going soon, but I didn't really realize it would be this soon. I was just talking to her only a few days before, if I knew that would've been our last conversation there's so much more I would have said to her. We headed for my grandparents' house, where our whole family was at, mourning her death. I just remember during the car ride there I didn't know what to feel at all, I guess I felt numb. We all just sat in silence with no music or anything, this was no time for that, this was a terrible day. Has it really been a year? Wow how time flies by. I miss you grandma

I'm fixing to take my driving test tomorrow and I feel quite anxious.

Its stupidly easy if you use a small car.

When I took it, the parallel parking spot was like double the size of my car (I used a ford Focus)

I've got a bigass ford explorer, but I've lucked out since parallel parking isn't a requirement to get you license anymore down here.

Leaving high school really isn't anything to freak out about. Don't overthink it. If you're starting college and not really sure what you want just take the general classes you'll need regardless, til you find out what you're leaning towards. Or start a trade/skill you can make a living with. Basically just about being responsible for yourself and independent.

 

You won't be under anyones thumb offering protection yet restricting you at the same time.

 

And there's always, always something more you'll wanted to have said wish or you'd done with someone before they pass. I bet you're wondering what she would think of you know, and what she would say.

 

You're never going to hear it from her in this life but she'd be proud of you for graduating and being the type of person you are.

I feel like I want to build a gaming rig next year. Looking at "next-gen" GTA V, I can't help but think that things are still going to be a major sh*tfest like they are on the current version. I also want to experience the mods that I always see on YouTube, something that made me jealous as a console gamer.

 

Only thing that worries me is the selection of quality games that are console-exclusive. I wish the new Halo games came out on PC... At least GTA, Metal Gear Solid 5, and Assassin's Creed are coming out for Windows.

I remember as soon as we were on the road the State Trooper got onto me for going a few miles over the limit. It made the rest of the test awkward, but at least I passed.

PC master race. If only I had the dedicated cash to buy a gaming PC. Ill probably end up doing that in the future sine console game prices are ridiculous, especially with how today's gaming is. $60 for a half a game....

I have steam set up but since my laptop is awful, I havent been able to use steam. Modding games (especially GTA) makes it so much fun. If i could get VC to work, Id still be playing that to this day (thanks to the MVL mod)

All I know is that I don't have to parallel park in order to get my license. It makes sense because there's really no place here to parallel park, considering every store/office has a bigass parking lot and every house has a driveway. I know for a fact if I still lived up north, I would have to learn how to parallel park seeing as everyone did it up there. Hell, my old house my dad would have to parallel park in front of.

 

Speaking of feelings, I'm a bit bummed out because I couldn't take my test today and I just found out I'm going out to take it on Monday. Maybe I can take between now and then to brush up on my driving skills. Sometimes I forget to signal until I'm right at the light, so that's something I gotta do.

Yesterday at work I pissed off 3 customers and lost a bunch of sales. Today I got a formal warning for missing a meeting on the university union I am a part of. I failed to meet the deadlines on a group project I am doing and let down the group. And I missed a deadline on submitting a poster where I work as a graphic designer. And I still have no self-shame or guilt or anything. This, is the feeling of death. When you've been a royal scumbag for so long, you're so jaded that being a scumbag doesn't even hurt you or inflict any self guilt. Holy mothecrappers on a shiznit stick.

Engineering - course probability and statistics - I understand the material, the prof just makes things difficult

I think they got condused because bumper was the last poster in the section .

They must have mistakenly deleted it, remember that mods are humans after all.

 

The number one rule about dealing with trolls is that you don't feed them. I doubt it was accidental anyways, I'm pretty sure the process of deleting an entire thread isn't identical to the process of deleting several replies in a thread.
