Lately, I've been dwelling on how my family has gotten when it comes to money and such.

 

We used to have lots of extra cash lying around, but that's not the case this year. It sucks how I was able to get things like games, new school clothes and other stuff I wanted, but those times are long gone. I am very fortunate though because we're able to get by with food, an apartment, and the rest of the stuff we need to survive, and that cheers me up.

 

I know I probably sound like a spoiled f*ck but I'm really not. I only got those things by doing chores, and it's simply not the same.

Sarcasm aside, I can see how that sucks for you. Sure you're probably still better off than me and many others, but you've lost what you once had, which sucks big time. I'd rather be born blind than to lose my sight after growing up, you know?

Yeah, I would rather be born without eyesight, too, That's a great way of putting things in perspective.

People in the future will certainly feel sorry for me. Because I don't have a humanoid robot which serves me in every possible manner, that I can't experience virtual reality and photorealistic graphics, that I don't have a flying car. But since I've never had those things I don't feel sorry for myself. I feel rather happy that I don't have to fight for my life everyday with wild animals, hiding and living in a cave.

I know I probably sound like a spoiled f*ck but I'm really not. I only got those things by doing chores, and it's simply not the same.

Basically the same situation this year. Ever since my dad graduated from his classes and stopped getting an extra $1600 a month from them, we started living from pay check to pay check. That was back in April. April was when all things went to sh*t. When all of the money problems started, when we stopped doing stuff together as a family, and when my mom and I got into a bad car accident (which didn't help as far as money problems go).

 

I still have hope though. One of these days my dad will get a new job, and that'll hopefully be an extra $2000 a month. And I hope to god that my mom's settlement from the lawsuit (from that car crash) comes in soon too. Likely it'll be $25000 but hopefully it'll be $100000 (to pay off all debts which I believe are around $40000) so that all of our money problems can go away, we can move, and start doing stuff again.

You know those rare nights where you actually have a great time out with your friends and get into fun trouble and aren't depressed as f*ck for once? (cause usually even when i'm hanging with friends, deep inside I wish I was alone in my room). Well tonight was one of those nights...admittedly alot of weed was involved. Sneaking into schools on a Saturday night is so much fun. This town is actually pretty cool when you explore around a little more and don't just sit your ass on the couch all day. I love those spontaneous adventures with friends.

I love the holidays, but my extended family asks for my Christmas list, and it's like they ignore it and get me gifts that silently scream f*ck your Christmas list.

 

But I guess something is better than nothing. I'm trying to keep my list under $100 so they can spend more money on the kiddos and elders. I reckon if I keep my list cheap and short, I might actually get something I actually wanted. Instead of stuff I have absolutely no need for.

I was just going through papers of 8th grade and 9th grade again and I asked myself "What the f*ck happened"

So many memories of 8th grade, good old days when I actually wanted to live, the days where everything was exciting, the days where I mostly got good scores at math (I've never passed a single test now) The first time I met her... Oh the memories... If I'd given the chance to go back I would, It's better that the sh*t that's happening now...
