Search does need to be fixed and no there's no support to convert peds yet.

I'm working on a similar tool, maybe we can merge the Tools :-)

 

I would like that very much.

 

More people working on this the better it's going to be.

The project is now back into development, with a new forum thread: http://gtaforums.com/topic/896836-img-factory/

Version 2 will be the next version.

 

There's a lot to do before supporting multiple languages, but it's definitely planned.

 

Also that GitHub source code link is an old link, the latest source code (excluding 3 private repository cores) is on the new forum thread.

It seems this link is dead too. Please update the links.

I have found this: https://github.com/MexUK/IMGF but a lot of source code is missing so it does not compile.

what is the maximum size of img archive can be collected by this program?
I need to collect 60,000 files, their total weight is about 7-8 GB, will the program be able to do such work?

Depends on the game engine. GTAIII, VC the limit is best kept under 2Gb, Same really for SA (Keeping the engine optimized), There is no support for Rage in IMGFactory yet.
RW engines can use split .img archives. using Fastman92s Img Adjuster.

 

But if you want to try and build a .img file to the size of 8Gb, I would be interested in the results.

I know I need to use the Adjuster

I have a question in other, the program will be able to collect archive in 8 GB, thus without having damaged files?

I have been trying for 3 days, tried all kinds of programs, and there is no success

I am also interested in the results, and I wanted to ask you this as a developer)) because other programs are not able to do this, even img console by fastman92 can not collect an archive above 4 GB

Yes,  You would have more success with each map broken down into its own .img file. There are limits within the .img structure (4byte header + ext ) making files unreadable the more you added to it.

no, with a separate img personally, I will not be any success, I have a lot of problems, the game was confused in the COLL or TXD archives, now I have 2 img 3 GB for each card, the game is stable, but at the time of movement between the cards there is a strong frieze, because the game loads a large img

and when only one img is constantly loaded, and the frieze, respectively, will not

Why does it crash every single time I launch it? It worked fine before.

 

EDIT: Blocking connection with firewall solves this.

Is one knows why the tool crashes every time?, i reinstaled the application but it doesn't work anymore, the windows message of not answering and it tells that is a APPCRASH, is any way to fix this?

The exact same thing happens to me.
Two days ago it worked, and now when I run the img, it shows me the message 'I stop working.

 

EDIT: If you deactivate your internet network it works, but ... why does this happen? Why would IMG Factory need internet?

like @ZaikerHind said disabling the internet fixes the issue for the time being I restricted the application to use the internet using my antivirus. Until and unless the developer comes up with a fix this is the only option.

Anyone experiencing crashing, block it's internet connection with Windows Firewall and this will solve the problem.
