Are you really asking if they were working on the PC version in January? Do you think games get made in 2 weeks?

Dope_0110
PC version was planned all along, it was just a matter of getting the most money out of last gen console, then introducing more stuff on new consoles, and then making the editor and a few other PC specific features work great so they can publish the PC one. nilz45

They were release PC version after them but PS4 and Xbox One released and they ported PC version to PS4 and XB1. After all, PC version is released. Story of Grand Theft Auto V. Spider-Vice
The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions even had internal graphs for something like the amount of bugs fixed per day and the amount of bugs present, going as far back as 2012. They left a load of debugging info in some of the files. Clumsy R*. let your hopes and dreams turn into burning fire! Port is still horrible. Bullsh*t. Its no bullsh*t! The port aint that good that it could be! Its not horrible compared to IV but it aint f*cking good! They could work harder to improve sh*tloads of stuffs performance wise! They could do many things diffrent i see people on the forums that cant play the game yet and many people suffers from sh*tty DX3_init crashes cause of their graphic cards are fabric oc. I mean dont say its a flawless port cause its not.
Kaito Katsumi
Does it matter? Port is still horrible.I'll.probably write an short essay to judge on this statement, i have an exam tomorrow anyways lol. This source was posted to convince the forum community that the Grand Theft Auto V port was very bad, so that the community will be pressured to hate on the game that was claimed to be a bad port. The source is not reliable as evidence that the game was a sh*tty port. This is evident in " Port is still horrible" as Le Dude made no elaboration on why the game was a sh*tty port. This could mean he was just posting it as he hates the game. By cross refering to my contextual knowledge, i do not support the statement. Although the game had a few bugs, it was a major improvement from its previous game, Grand Theft Auto V. It runs easily compared to other games from companies for example, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed Unity. Also, the game was confirmed to have been built in parallel, therefore it is not a port. The source by Le Dude cannot be reliable, as he is known to be a "one sided fanboy" in the community, only siding I n what he thinks is good, calling other platforms redundant for example. He also uses negative words that show an extreme end such as "horrible" which shows the extreme feelings to it. He is a gamer from an online community, and belongs to the minority that called it a horrible port and therefore, the statement could be biased. Therefore, the statement is not reliable, and the Game was a "port" developed well, if not, decently. Sorry i had to lol. I expect it sometimes in 2022 or so considering the time between IV and V

Le Dude
Does it matter? Port is still horrible. Bullsh*t. Lets see... -Does it run at at least 30 FPS with minimum graphics on a PC with the minimum system requirements? No. -Does it run at 60 FPS with maximum graphics on a PC with the recommended system requirements? No. -V-Sync is broken. -Anti-Aliasing is broken. -Texture Filtering is broken. -GTA Online is broken. Very broken. Very very broken. Very very VERY broken... very ve... ok I stopping. -Even if it was decently-ish optimized at launch, Rockstar is determined to undo that with every patch. -Options are poorly balanced, youre either forced to play with the ALL the textures set to minimum or ALL of them set to maximum. There is no Medium option, just a slightly lower than Very High option. And minimum... sorry, Normal textures look worse than on the old-gen versions. -Always online. -Rockstar Social Club, otherwise known as Games For Windows Lives degenerate cousin. -Replay Editor is still badly synchronized and buggy. -The reason it runs so well (or used to) seems to be the fact that its very uncompressed, same as Max Payne 3. Which essentially means trading bad performance for insanely long loading times. This isnt an issue in singleplayer since it doesnt have many loading screens but in GTA Online its unbearable, especially since the connection has a high tendency to time out. -War on mods. such great wow very port Edited May 7, 2015 by Le Dude
