I'm skeptical of joining random invites because they almost never set it to Hard difficulty, and it bothers me because after the mission I sit there thinking "We could have made 20% more money if it was set to Hard..."

 

Los Santos Connection

-Fun and nostalgic. The memories of trying to complete this as a low-level come back to me as I sit in my Armored Kuruma cheesing this mission for an easy $28k.

 

Landing Gear

-There's something about this mission that I love. I think it's watching the other randoms crash their plane into the cranes while mine has already landed safely.

 

Any Gerald mission

-I still need to know WTF a Gerald is.

Serious? Gerald is that black dude where u deliver the coke to

Almost any contact missions. I ignore races. Might try a Deathmatch if it's not Snipers vs Crappers or $$$$ RP

I'll join Heists randomly but ignore invites if it's a shadow as they're not in the session so I'll just get "Join a que?" crap. If they're showing the character's face then yeah I'll take a look as I won't leave the session.

Like most of the others: Los Santos Connection, even if people manage it to blow up that Granger sometimes.

Clearing the Cathouse with low level randoms is quite fun, usually they get angry on the mic when you "steal" Anna from them and fly away.
Deliever the EMP is an invite I would never accept if its coming from a random. Even if you like the mission, you must be masochistic to do that. Way too many dumb people on GTAO for that one.

We all have them.....those mission invites you get that you just can't say no to. It might be a favorite easy mission, it might be a fun mission that you just never see anyone playing....it may be a mission that you need 4+ players to play and it's hard to fill a lobby....

 

What missions do you always accept?

 

For me:

 

Landing Gear - I can't help it, if I see it offered up by another player, I usually accept.

 

Landing Strip - I think I accept this one mostly because I rarely see it offered and the name reminds me of Landing Gear

 

On Manuevers - just because of the rarity of seeing it offered and that it can be a tough mission if you play with newbs

 

Titan of a Job - what can I say, I'm a sucker for one of the old grind missions.

 

Coveted - Ditto here....never see this played anymore.

 

Any missions you never accept from randoms?

 

I'll never accept Death from Above or the ATV Steal missions b/c they take forever with newbs or in the case of Death from Above = instant mission fail.

One word to solve your Death From Above problems - Kuruma. You're welcome. (Rhino works too but it takes a bit longer to maneuver it into the back yard)

 

Great topic btw! The ones I always jump on are generally the ones conducive to aircraft - Effin' Lazers, Defender, Extradition, Judge The Jury, Trash Talk, On The List, a couple others. Either missions where aircraft are used by design, or targets are spread out across the map.

 

The ones I never accept are the grind missions because I'm sick of them. Primarily Rooftop Rumble and Titan Of A Job. Getting kind of sick of Los Santos Connection lately too.

And speaking of Gerald, now when I hand him the drugs, he just says, "Great, thanks." But I can tell he doesn't mean that. I remember the old days, when he would turn and watch me walk away with that little smile. It had seemed we had turned the corner on "And keep your mouth shut about me". Do you think he has heard about my constant slaughter of the green shirts in his area?

 

I'll keep taking his money but his attitude better improve.

 

Oh, back to topic, Titan, LS Connection and any mission with those Lost MC clowns. Their cries of anguish seem particularly satisfying.

Coveted is still played, but not by many players since it is only available via playlist. Thats why you will probably never get invites for that. However, there is a bug with the Cargobob, but some available missions are bugged as well since 2013.

 

Stocks and Scares is a bit annoying, you are right on that, but if you block the door respawning isnt that huge problem.

I accept any contact mission that I can finish regardless of whether everyone else dies or not, by grabbing a Buzzard, Savage, or Hydra. So, Trash Talk, Denial of Service, Judging the Jury, On the List, Crystal Clearout II/III, etc. Guaranteed money makers regardless of who you play with.

 

I always avoid Rooftop Rumble like the plague because it is an overplayed mission I hate, is very often host to exceptionally annoying people, and not even that great a money maker anymore.

IKR? I've even seen someone set a Gerald mission (Pier Pressure to be specific) to Easy.
