We need an amphibious vehicle, NOW!

With GTA 5/Online being out for over a year now and we still don't have an amphibious vehicle? Madness! I think that It would be a great addition to GTA 5/Online, the possibility's are endless!

 

So I've come up with some possible ideas ...

 

1. The Otokar Cobra (Basically an amphibious version of the insurgent)

2. the Python

3. The Aton Viking

4. the Vortex

Note: there are other vehicles available.

That's a good idea, didn't think of that. We've recently got submarines, so the only thing left is an amphibious vehicle.

If it is to happen, probably it would be the vortex hovercraft.

 

There aren't many rivers and internal seas to cross with that, but still it'd be nice.

Except there's little reason to actually take one out to sea, there's nothing notable on the surface and you'd be a sitting duck, especially since most amphibious vehicles are slow (minus hovercraft). As for riverine scenarios there are a few places deep enough to wreck a car but they're usually narrow enough to jump across, if not bridges are not far away.

 

If the map was a large wilderness area with few fjords or bridges I would concur with a "need" but right now, no. I'd personally prefer a RHIB or cutter with a mounted .50 cal but that'd still be useless, the only practical purpose to non-submarine vessels is cutting across the Alamo sea or temporarily evading a chaser until they get a helicopter or homing launcher out.

But seriously it would be a welcome waste of money. Maybe an Argacat or Scrambler with a mounted machine gun. Both for less than 20k each

 

A hover craft from dock tease and war stock (small and medium sized respectively). would also be welcome. The one from war stock should be armored and possibly armed, seating 8.

At the moment, I don't really believe we "need" an amphibious vehicle, I would prefer something that would serve more of a purpose.
