Why People Don't Mind Car Interior Junk

Many of those who do not mind having ashtrays, coffee cups, soda cups, phone docks, etc. in their cars fall into these categories:

1. They don't notice and/or care about details that small. Some possible explanations include having tinted windows and driving in 3rd person view.

2. They don't mind objects being added to their customized personal vehicles without a choice.

3. They don't have OCD.

It may sound silly to many but if I'm buying a vehicle I want to be able to customise it exactly how I want within the confines of the game. Many players who don't care about such small details would definitely care on principle when it comes to larger ones e.g. buying a Stallion and having it come in the roof configuration you don't want and you can't change it. (I'm aware you can only buy one type now but still, it's a frustrating issue)

Haven't upgraded yet, but I think it's going to annoy me when I do.

I hate the fact that my apartment has a bong in it, I hate the fact that my character is regularly seen smoking after missions, and I'm probably going to hate the fact that there's an ashtray in my car.

Some people like extra details, whatever it is.

Some others prefer to have less details as long as the overall composition match our taste.

Wish i could throw the bong out of my apt.

I am vehemently against drugs and even so i much prefer to think of my guy as a high class buisnessman/assassin not a street hood smoking dope and jerking off

I would never personally smoke, drink coffee or a soft drink, especially a silly jumbo cup that makes Americans fat so I hate those items, they do not suit my "personal" vehicle.

What items would you want as other options? Fluffy dice would be nice on some cars, maybe an air freshener, photo on the dash or half eaten sandwhich, provided it suits the vehicle I want it on.

The cup doesn't make Americans (including me) fat. It's the contents of the cup. :p

Yeah...generally considered by the science-types to be more unhealthy than regular soda. Not universally accepted amongst scientists, but more so than not.

I've mostly switched from soda to either milk or water. I'm pretty much at one 12-oz. can of soda a day during the week, and two a day on weekends. I believe the milk is more fatty (I drink 2%) than the soda, but the other health benefits make it far better to drink than soda.

Hatired is not a symptom of an anger management problem. What one does because of hatred might be a symptom at an anger management problem, but the hatred itself is not.

One can feel hatred, but if one deals with it in a healthy manner, there is no anger management problem at.

Lol! I drink more milk than a baby cow :p

As for the trash in cars, I'm actually a little surprised how many people this bothers. This subject has been coming up a lot lately. The ashtray is still the only thing that bothers me, I can smell it through the tv.

Listen, make sure that you have a full 30 car garage before you upgrade, any cars carried over have clean interiors by default. The Comet/Infernus interior never gets any garbage, cars like the 9F/Adder have the interior that can have a lot of garbage, the muscles/classics that have wood inside besides the Stinger can get a lot of garbage too. Cars with the Zentorno/Jester interior get no junk at all except the banshee which can spawn with a possible coffee cup. The only way to obtain a clean interior on next gen is to purchase a car that doesn't get junk or get luckly. If it has junk, sell it at a loss and buy it again until its clean.

Out of the dozens of customization options we have for our personal vehicles, adding these items to the list doesn't seem like a stretch.

You gave enough of a sh*t to take the time to say that you don't give a sh*t. Honestly, people who say "I don't care" make me laugh. People who truly don't care don't even bother to,say they don't care.

I like it, makes my most underused vehicles look like they're used a bit more.

Its a neat litle addition to the game.

I don't even have a wrapper in my car, hence why I don't really enjoy seeing crap in my gta interiors.

I understand that many of you don't care about having items in your personal vehicles.

Could you challenge yourselves to imagine why others may prefer to simply have the OPTION to not have those items?

If R* took the time to randomly add these items to some vehicles, why not take the time to make them optional?
