[PS4] Having Trouble Joining Job Lobbies via "Play Job" in Pau

Was wondering if anyone on the PS4 (and XBox One) has been running into this issue that has been annoying me for a few days now. I've posted something about this on Rockstar Support's community area, but would rather see people with brains reply to whether or not they get this too.

 

Anyway, my problem is whenever I choose any type of match (i.e. Race, Deathmatch, LTS, etc) via "Play Job" in the pause menu (so, Pause Menu > Online > Play Job > Any Genre) I will get the standard loading screen of going up into the clouds and see the Rockstar Cloud and Loading icons pop up. Everything seems to be working fine, the game appears to be finding a random job in the genre I chose. I then get bumped down through the clouds to "ground level" (if you will).

 

However, instead of loading up the Lobby's list of players who are joining/joined, the only thing that appears on my screen is the area where the job starts, the mini map, health/armor bar, and the surrounding activities (by this I mean, I can see other players roaming about on the map) from the free roam session I was in. My character is invisible, I am unable to move and/or pan the camera. I am stuck, there is no loading icon at all.

 

The first time this happened I waited for 10 minutes just to see if anything would happen (nothing did lol). Luckily, I am able to access the Pause Menu and find a new session without closing the game completely.

 

So, with all of this being said (and a long post so thank you very much if you are still reading) has this ever happened to you? If yes, has this started happening recently? And also, are you on PS4/ XBox One or Last-Gen? Like I said, I'm just curious if this is happening to anyone else. Thank you for reading my long post.

Thank god someone is in the same boat as me (but damn f*ck us lol). I for real thought there was something wrong my game lol. You on PS4 too?
