Because there isnt another game right now that lets you:

 

Engage in a street race which turns to a gunfight which turns into a jet vs chopper dog-fight, which turns into skydiving, which then turns into a bmx stunting session which devolves into a fist-fight ending in another street race...

 

With no loading screens.

The good thing of freeroam: you are constantly broke until a working money glitch comes along.

I found new entertainment: harassing red dots.

 

It works like this. Go to passive mode and find a red dot that's on foot. Now walk behind them. Every time they turn around, walk around to their back. After a minute or so, face them, then walk around them some more. Maybe use gestures or change outfits. They go berserk thinking that any second you'll disable passive mode and try to kill them

Grab a Western Duster or a Mallard and go find a cluster of players fighting each other and keep buzzing them and doing low passes making "pew pew pew" noises over the mic.

It creates a distraction and most of the time when someone pulls a homo launcher out they get capped by another player...

The amount of times other players have started voting to kick me out of the session is alarming, so I keep doing it.

Most of the time I play in an invite-only session where I am the only player. This is where I do most of my business; customize cars, buy snacks between jobs, customize my character, stuff like that.

 

When I am in a regular lobby full of other players, I am only there to kill people. I prefer playing deathmatches, but it can be very difficult to find matches that are not obvious spawn-traps. So if I fail to find a good match after 10-20 attempts, I just go into a free-roam lobby and kill people there.

I don't understand all the hate on freeroam. It is what it was meant to be; an open sandbox where you can do anything you want, it just so happens what most players want is to kill others. But that can be fun too: you get killed? Show that f*cker who's boss by killing him back!

 

IMO, one of the best moments in the game are freeroam sessions where it just devolves into everyone in the lobby killing in each other no holds barred in a block-wide area.

Because freeroam isn't as restricted as a deathmatch is. In freeroam, you can use anything you want; suicide bomb with a sticky-rigged car, call Merryweather mercs on someone, ask Lamar for a mugger, use Jets/Valkyrie/Buzzards, snipe people from the top of Maze Bank, etc. nothing is off-limits.

 

Nothing is as fun as the carnage of an entire lobby blasting each other.

 

Of course, this only applies if you're rich or don't mind losing a lot of money.

9 year olds generaly suck at the game and the biggest douche bags are 20 to 25 year old guys generaly self entitled like f*ck.

One thing i like to do is the Lesters "Distract cops" area mission. The best thing is that i get 10k and others can join to get the same payout without killing other players.

Does this actually happen? Any squeaker I've run into is always on the mic asking for friends/money and says "hey don't shoot me" or "why did you kill me"

 

Like someone posted it's usually the guys in their 20s who are the biggest twats.

 

That being said, If you've played the game for over a year and still getting griefed then I really think you should pick another game.

 

To avoid being randomly killed (like I have for about a year) is to have a little awareness. The map is huge, it's quite easy to avoid people.
