Can someone please tell me exactly how they force you to buy cash cards? Is it some sort of hypnotic image on the screen that makes you enter your credit card details or is it the old fashioned way and R* send employees around to take your loved ones hostage until you cough up. I have so far escaped their trap but if I know their methods I may be able to avoid it. Thanks in advance.

well when you're poor as hell and too lazy to grind then cash turds are your only option no? unless theres money glitches that haven't been patched yet.There is never, ever only one option, with anything in life. Especially when it comes to video games.

Now, in an attempt to bring this derailed train back on topic;

There used to be a glitch back in the old days where you could store high end cars off the street. I got a free Feltzer and Banshee like that (they're gone now though, don't worry).

 

That felt like real Grand Theft Auto...

He thought it's nonsense to legitimately able to buy car but cannot sell it back just because it's 50k+

This is what I taught, any car you steal from the street will give you 5* with tanks, jets,and help after you. If you can lose the cops and get it to LSC to remove the tracker your free to keep the car or scrap it for parts. Any car from you garage will be upgrade able with parts scaling with class meaning parts for super will be expensive than say sedan. Only the car you purchase will be insurable. Any car you pick off from the street if destroyed will be lost for ever including all the mods you put. Also any car stolen will be lost if left on the street for more than 5 minute will be impounded by the police and be lost forever. Any damage done to car has to repaired in LSC or it will stay with the car until repaired or destroyed.

 

I personally think stealing cars has lost its appeal in recent gta games since cars are more resistant to damage. In a way it's good since you play with other people. I think the price for cars are not expensive but some does seem to be high for what it is.

After current gen console 1st street to garage glitch: nothing but bullets,vaders, banshee,cars no one really cares about.

 

They removed the adder from spawn, so making r* have whats go online.

Well for all we know it, all the cars are online but disabled.

The Adder spawn is gone?. You can still get a cheetah from a mission, better car than an Adder anyway but I wasn't aware the Adder was gone. The dukes and stallions still spawn but MUCH more rarely since the heist update. Which changed everything spawn wise.

Maybe they could combine this with another change to the game, because I really wish they would revamp the Simeon export activity. Simeon should only want high end cars for export, with maybe the occasional Baller SUV, since Range Rovers seem to be popular black market cars in real life apparently. The normal everyday cars should be for the LSC chop shops. Simeon might request cars less often, but they would only be high end and he would pay a higher price for them when he does.

 

And if they did revamp Simeon's exports, maybe they could add another wrinkle to the game that allows you to buy the car off Simeon for cheap, after his people remove the tracker, serial/vin numbers, and counterfeit the papers.

Its either one extreme or the other.

 

Just because cash cards are tied into not being able to store the more expensive cars does not mean R* is forcing anything.

If we are able to steal, mod and keep high priced vehicles then why isn't there a mechanic in the game where our vehicles are subject to theft by others.

The reason is cash cards.. And nothing more.

 

All I hear is people whining about cash cards.

 

Here is the deal. You can play this game for free every single day of your life and for as long as you want. You don't ever have to buy a single cash card, EVER.

 

And yet still you all complain. Like whiny little girls who are given a great toy at christmas and complain that it's the wrong colour.

 

You dont seem to understand the problem here. The problem is not the cash cards themselves, its the fact that R* develop their game entirely around them. Features are dropped and added for cash-card-reasons only, This affect both the buyers and the free players.

 

All here know that no one forces them to buy cash cards. That was never the question, Its how the rest of the game is bent around them.

 

If i find a high end in car game and sold it, i would make alot of money on it. R* could go, NICE FIND! Sell it and use the money on fun sh*t. Instead we cant sell high end cars, because that inflicts with the #1 reason of this game, which is not fun and entertainment, but income. R* has made enough on selling this game 3 times + cash cards. Its only greed left in their mentality.

this is exactly what i was thinking

like each time he texts you after getting cars for him he'll then ask for higher car classes

For example, you have to collect a total of 30-50 sports cars for him to move on to supers.

Said it before in other threads (and I see this is 6 days old), there should be "Simeon Special Vehicles" like Special Crates, with cars you either sell to Simeon and get a good reward for, or you can take into LSC, fit tracker and insurance and keep as a Personal Vehicle.

 

I rarely ever see Special Crates these days (360 & PC), so the frequency of these SSVs appearing could be exactly the same as the Special Crates.

 

Also put a limit on the vehicle of 350k, meaning any vehicles costing more than that won't ever be seen as Simeon Special Vehicles. Somewhat similar to Special Crates, I would expect a high number of players wanting to go for it, and of course it could still be destroyed by someone.

The adder still spanws, but only if there's another adder nearby. so if you have a friend who got one, it'll spawn

im all for that idea, R* needs to add new stuff like this because special crates get old and boring, i was also thinking that they should include the khamelion and carbon rs in the special vehicle list.

Call me cynical but I believe there are a few more disappointing aspects relating to this.

 

Such as the amount of weaponry spawns and ammo in Rockstar created maps, I have a hard time believing that they play some of them in testing with 8 vs 8, when there are only 8 weapons on the map to pick up. Compared to IV, which had a weapon spawns spread across the map and not that far apart, it really does take away some of the fun.

 

Another aspect of the gameplay removed also included health packs fixing your cars. Now we're forced to either fit over priced bullet proof tyres or just accept the insurance charge when the car is blown up, I liked that race to a health pack before the car was about to explode. Small details and aspects of the gameplay like that made the game feel like GTA, now it feels like the game has changed just to encourage players to purchase cards.
