Grand Theft Auto V + $1.2 Million - Michael = $0

Hi

 

I bought the Rockstar version of Grand Theft Auto V + $1.2 Million, the problem I have is only Franklin has $500,000 and I want to play as Michael for the majority of the game. Is there any way to have this transfer and if not, why didn't I get the chance when I started the game to give the cash too a prefered toon?!

There's no way of transferring money between characters, and for some reason any pre-order bonus money goes to Franklin only.

I believe all the money goes to Franklin in particular because he is the first character

Use the 500k on Franklin to control the stock market. get a little bit of money on Michael and Trevor. buy some stocks in a company with a low price. Quickly go onto Franklin and then buy all the stocks you can, in the same company. Depending on which stock market your brought it on, the stocks should skyrocket shortly after. Then sell them all across your characters before the price drops again. Repeat. Also, Lesters missions that involve assasinating a target will have effects on the stock market, depending on the mission, some will cause prices to fall, others will cause prices to skyrocket or both. IIRC from the second of such missions i doubled Franklins money from 500k to 1mil.

There are several random events available that will get you money--- do them as Michael and you will make this up...

As said above, there's a few random events that can gain you money.

 

One in particular is a bike theft where you chase down the thief and return the bike and a couple of in game days later, you'll get a text from the guy giving you a $100.000.00 in shares which you can sell immediately.

 

Another is the Epsilon Program which can be found on your phones internet and depending on the choice you make at the end of it, can gain you a cool 2.1 million dollars. You can do the whole thing in about 2 hours. There's plenty of walkthrough video's on youtube.

 

EDIT: Forgot to mention you'll need the money from the bike theft first before doing the Epsilon shizz as you need a bit of money to complete the program but it's worth it in the end. Here's the location for the bike thief...
