iPlayGTA5 Posted May 3, 2015 Share Posted May 3, 2015 If I'm in director mode it records until I stop ( at least files of 4 to 6 minutes) when I use the record (F1) function online I'm getting short clips from 20 seconds to 50 seocnds. Crystal3lf Posted May 3, 2015 Share Posted May 3, 2015 (edited) It separates clips in small portions to make it easier to edit them. Depending on what is going on in the scene is how much time each clip will take. So if you're just standing looking at the ground you will be able to record longer clips, but if there are 50 cars blowing up and 20 police cars chasing you, you will get a lot shorter clips. Once the clock/timer runs out in a recording clip, it will start a new one where the previous one left off automatically, it's up to you to piece together the clips after.
