tokyocean
Currently in my second year of community college, hoping to transfer out to a four-year university. I chose computer science, but I honestly don't know if it's right for me. What I do know is that I'm a social person, but I'm extremely scared of public speaking or speaking to new people. With that said, I love teamwork. Working with a team motivates me much more than working alone. It's hard for me to do something alone because I get easily bored. I have a good layout for what I want to do with the knowledge I want to get from computer science, but I'm going to need a team for that. Knowing myself, I don't have the drive to lock myself in a room and do everything on my own. I need to talk to people. Not have good friends makes me lose my sense of purpose. OG13
According the government I'm "mentally disabled" so I get paid a decent amount to hide away in my house so not to scare you normal folk. Srsly though I'm autistic. So yeah... not much in the job market for someone like me. I worked in a supermarket once, in charge of stock. I was treated like dirt and had all sorts of other tasks dumped on me so I stole from them, let others steal from them, and slept for about 2 hours each shift in a bathroom stall. Got fired after about 6 months I think.

gtamann123
According the government I'm "mentally disabled" so I get paid a decent amount to hide away in my house so not to scare you normal folk. If you're being serious I envy people like you. You're like my uncle who has Schizophrenia and was declared completely disabled by the state and receives $1500 in cash payment every month plus other subsidies food stamps and free healthcare. Basically if he takes his medication he's fine and basically a normal person. But the government is paying him so much money in order to keep him out of the job market and sitting in his apartment all day so they can monitor him and keep him on his medication. Putting him on full disability allows the state to send a nurse to his apartment every week to administer his medicine and keep tabs on him. He doesnt have a bad gig considering I work a full time job and only bring home about $2500 after taxes (about $3600 before taxes) and don't have free healthcare. I've often wondered what it would take to get that disabled and collect benefits like and thought about finding a way of paralyzing my legs but after researching it I found out that most of the people who recieve the good disability benefits are mentally ill and that's very hard to fake. If your just paralyzed from the waist down you would still be expected to have some sort of menial job and then the government would pay you just enough disability insurance to supplement your income. You wouldn't get a full buyout like my uncle did Edited June 6, 2015 by gtamann123

Amazing Ace
Armored vehicle mechanic at Camp Pendleton. Age 15 years old Birthday November 8, 1999 Riiiight. I get that a lot, here's a picture of me trying to work a busted periscope: Don't judge I'm super underweight. (it was very hot so I decided to wear sandals and shorts n stuff instead of my work clothes.) sivispacem
It's not a career if you aren't employed doing it. And yeah, "mechanic" implies formal training you're far too young to actually have. GTA_stu
Lel that just looks like you're at some open day with your parents, taking a selfie. Sandals and shorts, because the army are well known for their lax dress code and sh*t. 15 seems too young to be getting trained up by the army like that, even if it is just as a mechanic. "years of experience". Something smells fishy here and it's not just my yeast infection. Payne Killer and sivispacem

And I know there is no way to prove it, and I know I just joined the forum so I have no trust, but it's true. Hopefully I can prove myself in the future. - They already told me what to wear and what not to wear, this was completely fine. They honestly don't care, as long as you don't hurt yourself and you act like you know what you're doing. - I was in JROTC when I was 13-14, too young isn't a thing anymore. - Yes, years of experience, I've been into armored vehicles for about five years now. - Not fishy at all! I honestly have a passion for what I do. Edited June 14, 2015 by Amazing Ace

But at the age 15, there is no legit job he could actually do there. Unless they payed him to take bolts out of decommissioned trucks but with all of the child labor laws in place I highly doubt that too. Or maybe hes right and im wrong and just an asshole Edited June 14, 2015 by DennyFrontier
