Abel.
Highschool is backbreaking and agonizing so..... HighSchool. Best years of your life. It might not seem like it now, but one day you'll look back fondly on your high school days. Make them the best you can so that any fondness isn't tinged with regret. Seriously, make the most of them. Don't take your friends for granted, either. Friends you make in high school are friends for life. My plan is to use the fruits of my current soul crushing labour to collaborate with the physics department and develop a time machine to take me back to my glory days. Scott.
I'm a learning support assistant at a College in the UK, I help and care for students during college time in class with their spellings, reading and this ranges over a wide variety of subjects and supporting a wide variety of needs. It's a very rewarding job and if I have a sh*t day, I know the students will always be able to put a smile on my face!

Menstrual Deranged
I've been a Registered Nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 14 years now. It can be very rewarding and happy at times, plus the pay is decent. But on the other hand, it is often sad & draining in every way imaginable and thus I play video games like GTAO & WoW to help with the chronic stress & PTSD-like effects! Ryan
Hey, good to see you around Lith!Like Lithium, I am also a slave employee of the Federal Government of Canada. Last summer and again this summer, I am working at a coast guard inshore rescue boat station. I really enjoy it. You work one week on which consists of 8-hour days at the station and then being on 30-minute stand-by for the remaining 16 hours. After your week on is over, you get a full week off. And what's not to like about getting to drive a boat like this with 400 horsepower around all day? Since the coast guard is only a summer job and not really something I can make a career out of, I've started exploring a couple of avenues to remain a slave employee of the Federal Government. Currently have on-going applications to both the Canada Border Services Agency and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Abel. and Lithium
Real_Badgirl
I actually just quit my job at Culver's. I'm currently in trade school, so I'm going to start looking at potential electric companies (preferably small and medium sized ones) where I could start my pre-apprenticeship. unbid
I used to freelance as an art tutor, but since my study got more time-consuming, I decided to quit. Hope I could get to work at an automotive industry (probably in the marketing division since it's what I'm currently majoring at) after I graduate, but for now, I'm still seeking for internship. Lithium
One of my wife's friends does this job at a university hospital here in Canada and some of the stuff she tells us is unreal. Little kids being thrown down stairs by their parents (this little boy only 20 months old) and dying, little babies on life support, and much worse. I'd rather see the violence I see at my job daily over anything to do with kids. It's heartbreaking, even more so now that I have a 22 month old. You definitely need to make time for yourself and de-stress. Thank you for the job you do! Menstrual Deranged and Abel.

garownsu01
I'm currently unemployed. When I get a car I'm probably going to get some sh*tty job at a retail store or fast food restaurant. But when I turn 18 I'm applying to all the local police departments and the parish sheriff's department to be a corrections officer. And maybe if I get that job then I can become a patrol officer when I turn 21.
