Thalyn
Good troll.. with a 580 .... There are many threads where some people ASK to know is GTA V runs smooth or not. Everybody is free to answerAnd there... there always are some trolls who create a new thread just to say "on MY sh*ty PC, the game run smooth" .... Ok in your case, your PC isn't sh*t (except your RAM.... useless to have 6GB, in this case it's better to have 8Gb (1x8 or 2x4) or even 4Gb (2x2)). And i'm the first to say that the EVGA 580 is a very nice graphic card for an "old" graphic card but it's not better than a 760 now. Do you know what mean "smooth" ? You know what? Rockstar doesn't care about you, don't need to be an ass-kisser.

I max out all my settings up to about 1.45 gig of my gpu memory. the game won't let me upgrade my textures to high because it *exceeds* my gpu memory. I'm confident if I get a at least a 4 gig new gpu card, I will be able to max it all out to the max. My ssd and i7 4790k is what's helping my game have such good frame rates. I'm playing in single player with a simple native trainer by Alexander Blade my i7 4790k and gtx 580 is on stock clocks. I'm not over clocking at all
fefenc
I have a r9 290 4GB VRAM, fx-8350, 6 GB ram and 1 tb HD. I can't max the settings because if I do it, I'll get unglorious 14 fps. I was getting 30~50fps before the first update with everything at maximum. Rockstar killed 4 months of delay with their patches that breaks the game more than fixes it. I had to remove the advanced graphic settings, put the grass on high, tesselation 1 level above of "Normal", MSAA 2x, shadows at normal, blur effect removed, light effects at high.... Well, I would rather rockstar downgrading GTA V to its original version and leaving the hotfixes to the modders cuz modders can fix the game so easily without breaking it like R* does with every patch that breaks the game more than fixes it. I'm having LOD issues and textures popping in after the last update. Apart from this performance issue, the game is good, it is not worthy the wait for singleplayers because I expected much more from SP story mode, it could be better, but it's just good because the real deal from V is GTA Online which scrapped content from SP to make it more appealing. I hate all the updates rockstar does.they should have serperate updates, single player and one for their silly gtaonline
