Halilolie
Hello everybody, It seems that I have a graphical problem that started with GTA V. The first weeks I played I had no problem, but suddenly I got these artifacts in GTA V. When playing other games I also got them after it happened in GTA V. After a reboot it was fine again. Played a few days and no problems, but then it happened again... I have a MSI HD5850 that is 4 years old now, max GPU core temperature during this session was 52C. Is it possible that GTA V killed my GFX card ? I play with everything at the lowest possible, at 1920x1080, fps is okay with most of the time 40-80 fps. Ram usage is 1018 mb out of 1024. The answer probably will be that my GPU is toast, but then I got the dillema of buying a new GPU. My CPU is an old i5-750 @ 2,67GHz, and I don't have money to buy a whole new computer. Now what do you guys think is a good (budget, I'm limited on money and PSU power) replacement for my HD5850, that is not overkill for my CPU, but also is not worse than the HD5850... Thanks for reading and have a nice day Edited May 1, 2015 by Halilolie
RedDagger
From the sounds of things it's your GPU dying; if you'd like help with replacing parts, you can post in the Technology section.
