[V|WIP/REL] Brake Lights & Game Clock

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

this is my first try for GTA V (started to play SP two days ago ;)...).

Brake Lights Mod (fixed):

- If you stop your car the brake lights turn on

- You can always deactivate it

Game Clock Mod:

- Switch ingame time or real time on/off

- Change key & clock coords in INI

Tested with GTAV 1.0.350.2 (should work with v1.0.335.2 too)!

Note: Copy the included ASI folder to your GTAV game folder!

yeees! very useful mods thank you!

nice to see mods from good old coders like you, julio, blade :)

hope you make a c++ TUT again.

Thanx :) Now I start to play GTAV first. But then for sure I will make more mods and post some sources here.

Nice that you release the Mod, and first, it works. But it seems there is a bug. The brake lights now only work if the car stands, but they did not appear when you brake.

Thanx :) No idea what it is, 'coz I don't got this bug (so far?)... But if I found any bugs I will fix them as fast as possible!

My problem is, at the moment I can't test any mods because after the stupid update (v1.0.350.2) I can't play in "offline mode" :sui:

Tried to copy my backup files over the new one (*.exe and update.rpf) but without an result...

Does this have the same bug as the IV version, where when the lights go on it will hang up phone calls?

Not tested yet, because I can't test any mods after the stupid update (v1.0.350.2) (can't play in "offline mode")...

I've got the same problem and you have to do this:

1. download 1.0.335 patch from torrent's site

2. copy 4 files: 2 exe's, rpf aaaaand meta- something -file in proper folders

3. do NOT copy ANY crack files

4. when you running the game turn 0FF internet

5. click offline mode

aaand You have working 1.0.335 game with mods :)

Thanx, but I already have a backup of the old version and I could downgrade the game, but I was unable to start SP offline...

Anyway! I've found a solution:

It's NOT enough to DISABLE your internet connection (Win8.1)! You must SWITCH OFF your (DSL) modem(-router) OR PULL the WLAN stick or ethernet cable!

First time disabling doesn't work! Maybe it's enough to block the EXE file(s) via firewall... not checked it now.

EDIT: A fix for Brake Lights Mod coming soon!

I have also the problem that the brake light will only turn on when the car is stationary, if I brake when driving, it won't light up..

But anyway nice to see this cool mod so early in GTA V modding era :D I remember that it took some 2-3 years to make this mod for IV (EFLC). Glad you did it again ;)
