I looked at the nativeDB and found the below values that seem to have something to do with the deformation (damage), but they do not line up so I can't tell what for sure what is being gotten and what is being set. GET_VEHICLE_DEFORMATION_AT_POS(Any p0, Any p1, Any p2, Any p3) <-Gets the (or some of) the deformation values).GET_VEHICLE_DEFORMATION_GET_TREE(Any p0, float p1) <- Not exactly sure what is being pulled here.SET_VEHICLE_DEFORMATION_FIXED(Vehicle vehicle) <--Repairs just vehicle health, but not deformation (I think).SET_VEHICLE_DAMAGE(Any p0, float p1, float p2, float p3, float p4, float p5, BOOL p6) <-Not sure what values are being pulled here or from where, but it could some of the values from GET_VEHICLE_DEFORMATION_AT_POS, but I don't know for sure. Perhaps someone who is very good at scripting could figure it out, but as I'm very much a beginner it is somewhat beyond me (at least for now). I have updated Szabo's 0.0.1.7B version and neons, plate types, vehicles extras (for example the Coquette Classic hood types), and plate numbers/text (read below for custom plate instructions) all now work. Note: You will need GTA LUA plugin version 10 (SDK) for this version to work correctly. All credit to Szabo for making such a useful mod! I changed the save car key to numpadMultiply, as it wouldnt work on a few others I tried. Yup. For me the save button was conflicting with Native trainer. moved it multiply and worked again. How about switch around the disable/enable button with saving and see if it works just as a test. if it does then u know its the buttons conflicting. If not, then you just might have found a bug. Thanks once again! reddevilthp, Vehicle extras are extra components that some vehicles have. For example the Coquette Classic has a roof version and a roofless version. The current version of this mod will save which version you have (note:if you use the current version of the enhanced native trainer (version 15 and up) you can select which extras you want enabled (if the vehicle has extras)). Note: The extras at first will not look like they saved as when you press the reload key defined in the mod they will still randomly change back. However, if you reload the LUA plugin (using lctrl + r) the extras will stop randomly changing until the vehicle is unsaved and re-saved. Note: Do not reload the LUA plugin near any saved plane, boat, or bike. As far any plans on continuing and maintaining this mod I'm not quite sure how much more there is left to be done. Make sure you are using LUA plugin version 10 (SDK). You will need to SDK version so you can reload it (note: the normal version 10 be able to be reloaded also, but I do not know for sure as I do not use it). 2. Open the file where your current cars are saved and blank it out (back it up first!!) and then save it. Then try saving a new car. If it works you should be able to copy your old saved cars list (from your backed-up file) and paste them below your newly saved car and they should show up. Note: I did not have to do this with my car list, but sometimes the mod can crash if it does not see a value for a field, and by saving a new car you are giving at least one value for every save field. GTAGeek123 Posted May 26, 2015 Share Posted May 26, 2015 LeonEma, After further testing I was able to verify that the duplication issue you experienced has nothing to do with the license plate, but rather it is basically the same duplication mentioned in #4 of the very important list (my last post on page 8). There is no current fix and it will occur with Szabo's version as well (except both vehicles will have default plates). The idea is to load the cars when entering the pause menu, then unload them when closing it (it'll slow down the pause menu loading, but not in-game). Heres my savepath: local savepath = "C:/Users/Simon/Documents/Rockstar Games/GTA V/SzaboPersistance/" I double checked in that directory, but the mod doesnt even create a file there. However, it seems that the pause menu won't allow any blips to be added once it is opened (which would make sense when you think about it). Note: I'm currently looking into some other possible ways to achieve the desired result. Edit: I have a kind of working fix for the full map view now. Version coming out very soon! MSTS, I've downloaded the Car Shop mod, but haven't gotten around to using it (or installing it), but once I do start using it (not sure when that will be) I will see about fixing any bugs I fine (unless they are too complicated). I do have to ask though why use the car shop mod when you can just use a car spawner? BTW: Thanks for letting me know the normal version worked. Ceasar, Which version of the LUA plugin are you using? New Full Map View Instructions:Press and hold your mapkey (which you can define in the script where the other keys are defined). By default it is 'p' (p for persistence if you are wondering). You will see that all your vehicles will load in the mini-map. If your game gets very laggy you can release the mapkey at any time and the default spawn distance (70) will instantly return and only nearby vehicles will show up again.In order to see all the blips on the full map press the pause key (Esc by default) while holding down the mapkey. Once the pause menu is opened you can let go of the mapkey. You will see all of the blips on the map. If you then exit the pause menu all of the blips (except nearby ones) will go away (unless you are still holding down the mapkey). This is done intentionally in order to prevent the game from lagging and/or crashing. Note: Use with caution as you are loading all of your saved vehicles at the same time when pressing the mapkey (no way around this) and you could crash your game.Also, there is currently no gamepad option for the mapkey as I do not use a gamepad and do not know which key would be good to use. It would be amazing if the future of modding allowed the webpages to be moddable so we could add pretty much any car to be bought, or even better, add dealerships around los santos and blaine county where you buy specific "types" of vehicles such as offroad and trucks in the "desert" and sports and super cars in the central city, and all sorts, would be amazing. Better yet, it would be even nicer when modding develops, for "bought cars" to never vanish unless you scrap them your self by blowing them up or perhaps a mod to take them to a junkyard to be recycled for a part of the money back, to allow any car, bought or otherwise, to become your "personal vehicle" like in GTA online, to set any vehicle as a personal vehicle so it's always either at your house, home or wherever you left it. And finally, to be able to have any car that is your personal vehicle OR saved in any of your garages to be delivered to you via a mechanic, agian, like in GTA:O which I think would be amazing. Too many times have i been out and about and really need one of my custom vehicles or one of my armored vehicles delivered or air lifed in, rather than spawning it. I too, don't want to ever feel like i'm "cheating" the game either, hence why I've not used nor will I ever, any money mods, only mods that odd other means to "earn" money naturally. Modding is still in it's infancy atm so all of the above would probably be impossible to do in an "immersive" way for now, but wow, vanishing cars is the worst lol, hence why this mod is extremely well required as a base. All my mods are working with the Lua plugin v9, which I believe is the "Normal" version you can download on the official page. It would be good to update though. if anybody wants the szabopersist save file and if that is ok with Szabo ill be more than happy to share and upload it. I spent a fair share of time getting all those cars upgrade to the max and situated in those spots but there are still plenty that need tinkering and perhaps categorizing for a more realistic look. I did make most of these before the bulletproof/smoke tire saves kicked in so there that as well, Giving Michael and Trevor some vehicles to boot wouldn't be a bad idea either. It would be nice to perhaps get to community going on a "ultimate garage" save file if you will. Thanks again Szabo! Thank you for the video. Much appreciated. You really need to add a check for duplicate cars. Every one I save ends up getting another entry a few fractions of a meter over... Also, I still want a way to disable the blips. I added this feature myself but it would be nice to make it official. I'm going to add disabling blips to the to-do list. I have no idea about duplicated cars though, the mod does check if a car is going to be spawned on top of (or near) another one. I was thinking about sticking with v9 for a while but perhaps I should port all my mods over to v10. The problem with v10 is that it has some regressions, for example, in CONTROLS.ENABLE_CONTROL_ACTION(2,0,true), the p2 is correctly a bool in v9, but in v10 it's now an int, so it's a regressions that in the future surely will be changed again and then the mod will break again. It's a time-bomb and need constant support. I'm going to talk to headscript to release some 'stable' v10 versions along with the rolling-release though. It just needs an On/Off button so that the large text doesnt flash up every few minutes OR convert the large text into a small notification-style help text. it also a little rebalance to make the payout lesser. I can modify the payout myself i think so thats not a problem. But i have no idea how to fix the text. Thanks for the reply. I managed to turn the text into a notification so problems solved! Also, I still want a way to disable the blips. I added this feature myself but it would be nice to make it official. I'm going to add disabling blips to the to-do list. I have no idea about duplicated cars though, the mod does check if a car is going to be spawned on top of (or near) another one. I suspects it's some kind of conflict with other mod (perhaps native trainer and lua v8 sdk?). -snip- I wasn't using any other mods when this happened.
