I updated to ENT 30, same thing.

 

I've never had Reshade installed. Latest 375.70 driver on 980ti. Latest 1.0.877.1 scripthook.

 

I've looked into it a bit more and:

  • Never crashes on startup without ENT
  • ENT will run with the "stock" GTA generated settings.xml
  • GTA crashes on startup with ENT and (refresh rate at 144 or long shadows on or probably other things).

Any idea what's going on or what I could do about it?

There was a report on the GTA5mods page that launching GTA with a controller plugged in, and ENT loading/loaded will crash your game for some. Unplugging it and launching GTA seemed to fix it for those affected.

Yep, unplugging my controller stopped the crashing, who woulda thunk it.

Yes, mr. felikkw, try to delete the DB file (but i'm not sure that it has anything to do with your problem) and you can try to use the ReShade of the same version as mine. Well, it's from this mod: http://www.gtabest.com/miscs/real-life-graphics-2-4-final/.

I have no issues with this version. I tried ReShade v 2.+ and it crashed the game in combination with the ENT.

got it, it's working now, finally i can use ENT alongside Redux original preset (some presets still causing crash) thanks btw sir.

ENT "Update 31" is on gta5-mods

yep, grabbed it a few hours ago. its working great!(thank you for adding the drum mags too)

I have no issues with this version. I tried ReShade v 2.+ and it crashed the game in combination with the ENT.

My DLC vehicles spawned normally without enabling the "Disable Despawn of DLC Vehicles" options in ENT. it's something weird but also awesome cause i don't have to bother with LS Customs door not opened (that happens to me when "Disable Despawn of DLC Vehicles" options is thicked).

That'll be because I updated the vehicle despawn pointers :).

i just checked my AppData\Local\Temp\GTAV Enhanced Native Trainer folder and i have that VP_TIPTRUCK2.png. in my folder there are actually 180 .png's.

also just a fyi, i had no issues with the new update 31. its working great! thank you again for all your amazing work guys! ;)

Yup,did that still the same error.

 

EDIT:For some reason the crash stopped.

 

Regarding the "Force vehicles lights" when active you cannot turn the lights OFF at all ? hitting all E levels does nothing,can you please enable that back ?

Yup,did that still the same error.

That'll be because I updated the vehicle despawn pointers :).

 

when i don't use ENT in exchange for using reshade (back when i think and assuming that every reshade version conflicting ENT) the DLC vehicles that should have dissappear still sitting in my garage (spawned when i still have ENT enabled, and save it to my garage)

Yep, dear Zemanez, about 'Force vehicle lights', i second _MK_, could you fix it?!

Reading your complaints now, I suppose by the "Force vehicle lights on" feature that you had wanted, you meant that you want them to be turned on when you first enter a vehicle but not stuck to being on the entire time?

If that is the case, then what's the point?

The vehicles are made to turn off the lights automatically during the day, but turn on automatically during the night.

Turning on the lights upon getting in a vehicle during the day will only make it turn off automatically in about a minute or so.

Also for some weird reason, R* made it so that it is impossible to directly turn on or off the lights.

Instead, they only let you set a flag which marks the lights as normal, always off, or always on, and that's what I'm using for this feature.

That was the most I could do (annoyingly enough).

surprisingly my vehicle lights stays on when i turn it on at daylight, i didn't use any mods to do it or so.

Y'see, features like that are coming up against R*'s engine itself.

 

As asdfchlwnsgy1236 mentioned, the game 'resets' the vehicle flag every few minutes for some reason. There's a script which does this in fact. If you try and force the headlights on, there's ~ a 60% chance the lights will turn off again, or even crash and no longer work at all (I did some experimenting before as it's the same problem with locking vehicle doors).

 

It's the same with locking doors in singleplayer. The native responsible works fine Online because there's a script which handles that behaviour, but because R* never thought of allowing us to do it in Singleplayer - that native breaks occasionally, hence why it works sometimes and not others.

 

Snow is another example. Works fine Online, but you have to edit 4 memory addresses in single player to get the same functionality.

 

There is no easy way to get the functionality you want, and I'm not even sure delving into memory and editing the flag directly would work either because the script will run a check, see something's "off" and would reset itself (i.e lights no longer work).

And now for the question/request :/ , is it possible to add the biker dlc motorcycle wheels to the customization menu?

Yeah, that should be possible. It won't be any time soon though as both asdfchlwnsgy1236 and myself have a mountain of uni work to do for the beginning of Dec :(.

New version of ENT is available to download on GTA5mods (update 32) for anyone wondering when an update would be released.

 

Changelog is up there as well.

@Zemanez can you fix heavy snow enable and disable thanks. can you add again everyone ignore you. Can you add never wanted please :). Can you add map editor how Menyoo have map editor integral.

@Zemanez can you add peds spawn please, i know there be bodyguard but if possible spawn animals,NPCS alone

Also the Western Maverick (Sheriff) needs to be removed from helis. it doesn't spawn and I think I remember someone saying it isn't actually in the game, or something. Cheers!

I'll remove the Heli. There's a few vehicles which no longer spawn thanks to R* messing with things.

 

Online weapons disappearing is due to R*'s scripts removing them since you're not meant to have them in SP (just like the DLC vehicles).

 

The "freeze wanted level at 0 stars = no wanted" is by design as well (~update 28 this was implemented). There's no point in having "no wanted" if freezing your wanted level at 0 does EXACTLY the same thing.
