V Released Enhanced Native Trainer

And yeah, the second I saw a game with nothing but *.rpf, i knew that rockstar didn't want us to edit anything. I mean, in 2004 with S.A., almost everything was open. Rockstar wanted us to edit the game and to create content. For example, in the peds.dat file there even was a line "//Add new peds here". I loved to do small mods by editing files like carcols.dat. In GTA IV, they introduced the "Rockstar Package File" format that closed the game a bit more. But there still was files like carcols.dat so small mods were still possible without advanced tools like OpenIV. And in V... Everything is locked... Even the carcols.dat cannot be accessed without OpenIV. Interestingly, RPF was introduced in GTA IV, the first GTA game that has official multiplayer support. Coincidence ? I don't think so. In my opinion, GTA V is all about GTA:O for rockstar, and this is why the game is composed with RPF files only.

This is great conspiracy theory. But...

RPF here because of RAGE Engine, not because of multiplayer or something. RPF is archive format is all RAGE based games sine the first one - Tablet Tennis.

But yes, you are right, Rockstar doesn't want you to mod the game.

 

Yeah... I didn't thought of that. I said to myself "what is the only thing that is in IV and V and not in III, VC and SA: multiplayer". But the RAGE engine too. And I guess this is probably the good theory. I'm going to trust you because I didn't spend that much time investigating, and you are the leader of the .black project so... Yeah ^^

The people responsible for this are known as 'N****r Menu', they sell their trainer for $20, their work is based on this with a load of disruptive online features, and they are why I'm going to call it a day.

Or you can stop uploading ent source to github. Keep the sources in your computer, and upload only the asi file.

Stopping your work on ENT is, in my opinion, an extreme decision.

I know how bad it is, and I know what you feel. But don't give up ! You have plenty of solutions to avoid this in the future. I know that you put a very very very hard effort in that feature, and the fact that it's stolen is very annoying. But you can still develop the project ! Do other cool things !

The thing with hackers is that absolutely nothing can stop them, even with this extreme decision they will be able to get resources elsewhere. I read a2n article from either IGN or PC Gamer whom interviewed an unamed hacker/hack developer, and it said that after 30 minutes of the newest security patch for Counter Strike Global Offensive, (which is probably the most security mass patched game ever) a hack was developed. The interviewer stated so many true and understandable things about how no maater what they will find a way. And developer of garrys mod, ,facepunch/garry said that the worst thing you can possibly do is to stop the development of a mod, as it could lead to other recreating the mod, but in a less organised and tested manner, which could lead to even more hacks being made due to possible, new loopholes. Thus what I am saying is please do not cease development for this mod, as it is excellent, and possibly the best as I still wont play SP until U28 is released. I feel like it is my birthday every time an update is released. As stated ceaseing development will only make hackers go somewhere else. Not one game will ever be unhackable, not even Battlefield, so please continue development as I know you are doing you're best to prevent it but your mod is not the problem, according to me it is people with good knowledge to be able to create versions of scripthook v that bypasses the online check thus no error is thrown to your mod. Plus if the people claim that their are hackers but don't report them, obviously the hacker count won't go down. In fact i reported and caused the ban of 25 hackers this week.

So it's the guy who started it all...

There is always some assholes to steal the work of good guys but you'r not doing it for them but for all of us here and on others serious websites.

 

If you stop they don't lose anything they just have to find others sources, we are the only one who are loosing something ;(

oh damn that suck... Somes ppl are so diserspecfull when it come to money... >< that's pretty much pathetic, especialy bc some f**ker that want to cheat online so bad... ( seriously i reallly hope R* is going to find a good way to ban all thoses players... )

 

Maybe as a payback you could send a mail to R* to explain that you developped this trainer for the solo only, and explain that thoses ppl stole that work, and how R* could f**k / detect this kind of online trainer ? ( since they look totaly incapable of offering a good protection, and after all its based on "your" work )

Or totaly denounce them sending to R* link.. etc ( maybe R* could also fuk them down for selling online trainer )

I mean if i was you i would show no mercy for thoses kind of person.

Also giving up on your trainer and your honest public because of that guy(s) also mean "punish" everyone because of a very very very parasite minority. Its a bit like rockstar that totaly break his own game for everyone with the ill gotten stutter part 2 update because of a trainer user minority..

And i would also be sad having to find another trainer to use... i tried somes and sticked with this one since i started play the Solo.. its really the best

GTA Online isn't the problem. The problem is there are assholes that want to break it with troll mods, and steel others work.

 

The only mods that I like in Online are ones that allow us to access content that we should have. Spawning vehicles gives us access to the Blimp, Cargo Plane, and Tow Truck for example, which are a lot of fun in Online. Opening up interiors is also nice in Online as it allows you to do a hold up against the cops. Or a team of players hides inside while another team tries to get in and take over the building.
