It is rare to find a modder who is actually able to fix pretty much any problem that occurs with their mod. That's some high-level programming sh*t right there! Do you work in IT by any chance?

I'm a software engineer :)

 

Android, mostly, but anything goes. This is my way of staying familiar with C++.

Good news - I think I've fixed the vehicle invincibility problems whilst maintaining no cosmetic damage. Download 22 again and report back please.

Yup, I redownloaded version #22 and vehicle invincibility works perfect again, tested both getting out of a car and tested the Hydra, changing between the VTOL mode and tested the landing gear.

This is true, I don't know why. This is inherited from the original trainer and looks like it can be improved. Worth a look.

Don't use vehicle invincibility? If you like damage then turn it off and you'll see the visuals. Cars can take a lot of damage before exploding anyways, the way it is now(real invincibility) actually makes more sense.

Edit: it basically works fine for me anyway. It only repairs the car when you crash into something, not when you just break a window.

I don't know if you're aware of it - but when painting your car in matte and then trying to change the color of the wheels, trainer returns something like "Your car needs metallic color for changing the pearlcoat". Also, the new invencible option for cars is... meh. I liked the old one more.

Is vehicle spawning supposed to work online as it doesn't appear to work for me. Windows 8.1 no other mods.

Nothing is supposed to work online, and outside of FiveM, you shouldn't be using it.

Dirty I have no idea about, that's odd.

 

The custom tyre option should be fixed in the latest version. It was never saved by earlier versions, so you'll have to make new saves.

 

As for reordering, maybe one day, but it's a lot of trouble for what it is. Possibly they could be ordered by save date.

Alright cool for the custom wheel. (and its ok if i have to load / resave, i dont mind )
Maybe a way to directly edit the save file ? If the "reorder" is too annoying to do ( even if i dont know how to open the "CharacterSave.sav" ( i guess its the trainer save file right ? ) i could edit thoses for the character menu / skin control and reorder, it would still be a good alternative ! )
And what about Creating some category ? ( like if i want create a "bike" / "Sportive car" / "armed".. etc category, or same for the character skin.)
In mean time if you find a way later to have access to the chrome plated for the wheel, its going to be perfect.
Any plan for bodyguard / npc spawner ?
or like having access to a npc that can take control of gunner seat and shoot for us ? ( like in the "lamar mod" having the choice to have manual shoot / only ennemy / or everything ) could be really cool tho :]

By change someone know where are the file related to the "vehicle upgrade" ? i would be very curious to exacty know what vehicle stat they change.

And is there a way in a file to change the helicopter control ? I would die to have the mouse X axis manage the "rotate" instead of the "roll" to get something more like in a BF, cose actualy manual aiming with a heli in GTA 5 is a bit a pain :p

 

 

EDIT : yeah good it doesnt work online, there is enough trainer user like that in somes sessions annoying other ><

Those of you who want controller support, maybe you can help.

 

So far, I have it working, but I need to decide on some default controls.

 

So far I have in mind:

 

- right shoulder + Y to bring up/hide trainer menu

- digital D-pad for menu up/down/left/right

- left trigger for back

- right trigger for select

 

Airbrake mode, well, whatever, I can figure out something.

 

I don't have a good proposal for vehicle rockets/boost/stop yet.

 

Any thoughts?

I finally got around to testing the latest version with the latest Script Hook.

everything seems to be working pretty well.

 

right now I've still got one little bug that keeps cropping up.

it's kind of weird.

 

my Saved Vehicle doesn't work for Michael, but only Michael.

the Saved Vehicle I tried for Franklin and Trevor work just fine. their cars load up with all the modifications and the right color. the problem happens with the Infernus. maybe it's just the Infernus or maybe it's just Michael. basically, when I load the Infernus for Michael, the colors are wrong and the neon lights are missing. when I load Franklin's Vacca it spawns with the correct paintjob and correct mods. when I load Trevor's Bullet it spawns with the correct paintjob and correct mods.

 

when I load Michael's Infernus, it spawns with the wrong color and it's missing the neon underglow.

Michael's Infernus was saved with a Metallic Blue primary color, a Matte Orange secondary color, and electric blue underglow. Michael's Infernus is the only Saved Vehicle that spawns incorrectly. no matter how I save it, whenever I spawn the Infernus it comes out Black on Black (not Blue on Orange) and the neon underglow has disappeared.

 

like I said, it doesn't happen with Frank and his Vacca or Trev and his Bullet.

just Mike and his Infernus.

Neon lights aren't supported, so they won't be saved.

 

There is a known issue whereby if you (ever?) repaint it at LSC, and save it, it spawns back in weird colours. I will eventually look at that, but not any time soon. Game paint is really horrible and confusing.

Great initial controller support ideas! Left on the dpad can be annoying with sticky bombs detonating and a mobile radio mod changing the station at the same time. There is a lua script I have installed that when you bring up the radio wheel and click R3 it changes the song. I've always enjoyed that script as well. Incredibly excited for controller support thanks for your hard work!

Hi,@arewenotmen. I have an Idea about your mod,Enchant Native Trainer. Can you add another function about invincible car that damage can be only visual(except windshield) but the engine doesn't take any damage. Can you make my wish to be possible? [ sorry for my bad English ]
