[V|REL] Collectable Collector

I have it on Steam, too. I have Script Hook V 1.0.350.2a with "NativeTrainer.asi" file from "[V|REL|WIP] Simple trainer enhancements: skin detail chooser, menu arc". I also have "[V|REL|HOOK] LUA Plugin for Script Hook V" installed for what it's worth. Maybe try this combination of mods.

 

Signed up to say that my game also crashes with this mod. Even with v1.3. Brilliant mod though so thanks for making it :)

 

Edit: I have Gta 5 Steam if that's important.

I'd love the other next gen stuff too like the Murder Mystery and the Wildlife Photography Challenge.

 

Well with the Murder Mystery you only have to find 4 things which is easy with a guide. But the Wildlife challenge I don't think it could be done as the animals are quite random in location and spawning close to them would probably scare them off.

Alexander Blade let me know that the problem is resolved in the latest ScriptHookV. So you should just redownload that and no crashes should occur.

 

I also manually checked and updated all the Spasheship Parts and Letter Scraps. So now you spawn right in front of them and not in bugged areas. The mod is uploaded but is still waiting for approval (link in first post).

 

I also plan to add all the other collectables, but this will take me some time.

It didn't work with Alexander Blade Script Hook V v1.0.350.2a and crashed to desktop twice, I had two error screens, and was only able to capture the second one, the first one went by quickly with a green line in the error window, here's the error I did capture, see bottom image in my post

 

I also have a mod called [V|REL] Exclusive Content DLC - Unlocker in my C:\Users\username\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles folder

Alright. I have worked quite a few hours on it today. Manually checked and updated a lot of locations...

 

Changes in v1.4:
  • Added Epsilon Vehicles and Under the Bridges
  • Epsilon Tracts, For Sale Signs, Peyotes and Stunt Jumps now have perfect spawn positions
  • Deleted Parachuting locations since it is useless (there are blips on the map)
  • Teleport to marker function added

The mod is waiting for approval in ModMy5.com (click).

Changes:

  • Hidden Packages now have exact locations
  • Able to write locations to file if option is turned on in .ini-file

This last change is special! If you set the option WRITE_COORDS to 1 in the .ini-file, you will be able to write your location to a file named coordinates.txt that will be created in your GTA V directory. This will automatically happen when you press F7 (or another key, you can change this also in the .ini-file). So if people are interested, they can easily provide me with locations of collectables that I still have to add (Nuclear Waste, Submarine Parts, something else?).

 

If you want to provide me with such coordinates, please send me a message with the coordinates or post it here. If I will use your coordinates, of course you will be mentioned in the credits. :)

A new version (v1.5) is waiting for approval on ModMy5.com or in the meanwhile on MediaFire.

 

Changes:

  • Added Monkey Mosaics

That's very kind of you, but of course I know there are maps available on the internet. However, I need the exact coordinates (x, y, z) to implement them in this scripting mod. For some collectables I have used guides on the internet, manually went to the locations ingame and saved these coordinates to a file, so I could use them in the mod. This however can take a lot of time, especially for things in the water. That's why I ask for help (also because somebody proposed to help ^^).

I had some free time today so I added the Nuclear waste and Submarine Pieces.

The only collectables that are not in the mod now are the Knife Flights and Wildlife Photography. Knife Flights need to be done with airplanes at great speed so teleporting is too dangerous. Wildlife Photography can be quite random and to trigger an animal spawn you need to be a certain distance of the animal, so it's also hard to teleport to good locations here.

 

I also made some other small changes:

  • Added Nuclear Waste and Submarine Parts
  • The active menu-item now is remembered
  • Changed the drawing height of the menu and the amount of maximum visible menu items, so it doesn't cover the minimap

I did a fresh install with the latest version and the nuclear waste and submarine parts option aren't showing on the list? Do you know why that might be?
