Just an idea for InGame Trainer

I know this might be too soon, but since native trainer were released, i want to go with an idea. I had this in my mind a lot of years, and never did anything about it. One of the things that retained me from making this was because no one speak or did this, so i think that might not be possible, but here it is:

It would be awesome to have more info in the trainer, in this case, a preview of the vehicle. It happened to me that sometimes i spawn a big plane by mistake or something ^^ But is not only about, it because, if it is possible, we can make the trainer to look better.

For example, the trainer of GTA IV wasn't really good. The text was too big, and in white background you couldn't see. That's why i would love to see better UI in games <3

I had a look at the code for the Native Trainer (Alexander Blade's Script Hook SDK) and this looks potentially doable.

 

The biggest problem is it's linking into a load of undocumented UI methods that I don't understand well enough, so whilst it's easy to see how he's putting text & coloured rectangles on the screen, since that already happens, it's not so easy to see how you might draw pictures.

 

Edit: I asked about this, and you're probably going to have to wait until someone can add textures to the game, which hasn't happened yet

Believe it or not I had a similar idea myself, but more so relating to the main UI where you access everything.

I had the idea of making the menu like the weapon wheel once a hotkey is either pressed or held down (then using the mouse/gamepad to navigate, exactly like the weapon wheel).

The categories are the same as the current list of options, with an added 'Objects Menu'.

Starting from the top and going clockwise, you have;

 

-Player.

-Weapons.

-Vehicles.

-World.

-Time.

-Weather.

-Objects.

-Misc.

 

Once one is highlighted over, you would get a brief description of what options that category contains.

Thoughts are welcome.

Oh, ok. That would be great if they can import textures to the game.

I tought about that wheel too, but i couldn't figure out how to manage it after the you select a vehicle. I guess the wheel wouldn't be a good choice to select a vehicle, but yes for a mod.

 

I rather have a simple list sorted in categories.

I don't know if it's going to be possible, but a simple list menu would be great too. If we all can get what we want would be great.

i'd rather just have the model itself load as you hover over the text then you press to confirm

i would like to move the trainer into the interaction menu, to fit into the game more and to add easier access and it would have better controls and work with a controller this is my full concept you guys can do some concept art if you want id appreciate it thanks http://gtaforums.com/topic/789849-gta-v-masive-trainer-add-on-concept/?p=1067382196
