I never meant about the dlc just remember an announcement of some sort, think it might have just been a few screenshots or something, just remember that long long wait for info before Gta v was ever released! Think this wait for some sort of an answer on the DLC is even more frustrating than the original wait!!!

Rockstar never went to E3 and the only reason GTA 4 and GTA 5 was announced in E3 was because they formed a partnership with Sony and Microsoft as a deal.

But you can't complain about Vi,i mean seriously,people have complained about iv then v,and v was a result of iv,and now iv is considered a better game,despite V was a result of iv and the fan base.

 

So yeah,you CAN'T and must not complain about vi (whether it was actually good or not),and also people will show who truly are if they complained about vi,so they just have to deal with it,and if it was truly bad,they will pretend it was better than V

Imagine this,gta forums have complained about iv,then v,then vi,it will show that they are truly just some scumbags.

And beforehand everyone believed the game would be the be-all-and-end-all just based on the map the setting was San Andreas.

 

The setting isn't the issue with V anyway, it's the gameplay elements themselves that are the issue. Had V been based in VC with a similar plot and the same side missions we'd be talking about how much better it would have been if they revisited San Andreas.

 

Plus... What about GTA:VIce City?

Or even... GTA:VIce CIty?

There is nothing about V right now that would make me change my mind about it being a disappointment, not even a future GTA title that turns out to be even worse.

For me GTA V is at the bottom of the Barrel. If the next game punches through the bottom, it will not automatically elevate V above the bottom of the Barrel.

anyway i just saw ghost recon 2015,and man it looks as a great promising title,it definitely dwarfs V.

This is the same sh*t you have said once about iv as far as i remember (i'm very critical,remember?,i think you have once said that.).

 

And guess what you weren't right,you changed your mind,and you can't tell the future.

 

After all there is no game came close to v till mid 2015,almost two years later.

 

Sh*t,people in the forums couldn't find a single game to beat gta v (so they can stop playing it) until the witcher release.

This refers to an SP experience only, I don't give a f*ck about online or MP.

 

Without going into too much detail, I changed my mind about IV for a number of reasons :

 

* IV had really good content and features to my taste that were already in the game, but I had not realized they were there when I first played it. When I played again IV at a later stage, I finally discovered and realized that the stuff I really enjoyed was in the game. V has NO features to my taste that are hidden or undiscovered in the game that would make me like it more.

 

* There were many great ways of playing IV utilizing certain features already in the game that I was not aware of when I initially first played it. V has nothing more to add in terms of what I like to the gameplay. The gameplay features and content in V are nowhere near the expectations I have for a GTA game of it's potential. Yoga and towing trucks pretty much say it all.

 

* IV now had EFLC added to it, which had even more features and content that were exactly to my taste - Drug Wars, Gambling, Cage fighting just name a few. V still has no SP DLC apart from mostly powder-puff, bullsh*t online MP updates. Unless the SP DLC (if it exists) and actually turns out to be so great, then I cannot see it doing much to make me change my mind about V being a disappointment.

 

* I had always stated IV had a great story, even when I was very critical of it back then. The fact that I already liked the story and I was discovering new things that made me enjoy the gameplay even more, made me even further appreciate the IV and give it more respect and admiration. V to me has the worst storyline in entire main GTA series - it lost a lot of marks from me for that from the start.

 

* I was critical of IV initially, but not as much as I was of V after after playing and completing both games. IV still had many things I liked about it, despite me being initially critical of it. I still liked the graphics, physical effects, the near-perfect rendition of NYC, and the living, breathing city atmosphere/environment. I still think V looks graphically amazing, but that's one of the few things I really like about V, not saying a lot.

 

* I changed my mind about IV finally being a great game LONG before V came out and LONG before I played V. I've got witnesses to prove it. So you can't pull that "oh now once disliked IV, now you dislike V and like IV" crap on me.

It is to bad that Rockstar keep on ignoring the single player fanbase. No single player glitches fixed(bawsaq) or no new content. Oh well! I am excited for metal gear solid 5: the phantom pain coming September 1st. My copy of GTA5 in on my shelf waiting for this day.

As for point one,that's just your opinion,it doesn't mean they suck,v still has the same amount of crime as iv you know and also usefull

 

Point two,the gameplay for v is very good,it's the best you could see in a gta game,it's really smooth and responsive what's not to like?,iv in the other had wasn't that great,i mean sure they added cover system but for most of the times it felt unnecessary,not even mentioning it was very slow and clunky,it's little hard to be enjoyable by 2008 standards (i do realize it's first rockstar rage game,but i don't care,they could have delayed it) as for tow truck and yoga,dufaq man??,you can ignore this sh*t.(remember gameplay trailer),and i can easily mention the bowling and girlfreind system in iv,but i never do that.

 

Point three,this isn't advantage for iv,it's just a dlc not the full game we are talking about here (but i strongly agree that they were very good)

 

point four,again i agree about v is short and lacked some events,And that's the main issue of the game,but clearly it isn't for you,you don't like the story or the characters,so instead of complaining about the shortness,you complain about the story itself (like you could have wrote a better story)

 

Point five,i agree gta iv was great at graphics so as v,but it won't make a game better (more fun i mean),and i don't agree about iv LC was almost perfect,no way it is,it felt cold and unresponsive for lots of times,and you even see the same people in the same street,and it didn't capture newyork like how LS have capture los angelos,the videos on youtube proves it all,i can even say more about LC,but you won't bother to read,and no one can deny V is pretty much still the most alive world we will saw in a videogame.(i'm just kidding,of course some people will deny this)

 

 

As for the last point,i never said you were one of those guys,i already know the heat on iv didn't even last for like 3 years,so maybe in 2010 or mid 2011,the heat wasn't much at all,it was pretty lovable game here in the section (but hi it was the newest game,you have to deal with it)

 

Anyway i agree with lots of people on rockstar keeping us silent,check the last few pages,so i'm not defending sh*t.
