Suchary 33 Posted May 19, 2015 Glad to see you're really into this, unlike many other people who start a mod and abandon it two weeks later. Hope you'll actually finish this.

gallardo555 452 Posted May 27, 2015 Sorry for not updating the topic for last few days. I have my final exams so I didn't have time to make any news regarding GTA3: First Builds, nor was I able to contribute with my friends from GTA3D Team. There will be some news early next week for sure!

gallardo555 452 Posted June 7, 2015 SkyHunted: lol I heard something like he started talking everybody that he's a Rockstar employee. Personally, if I had the option to work for Rockstar, I would be most likely a tester and I would do it completely free-of-salary I love testing things

X/R// 447 Posted June 10, 2015 the new ingame screens does look good, but you need a lot more brightness to get the feeling of the beta. start by editing the timecycle, specially the last 4 numbers at the each line. make them all 0 255 255 255 and you will notice the brightness so quick. Also the motion blur (which was not present or needed at the beta) will be gone you can also use enb series for brightness but you might end up with crushed whites, which will force you to edit all shades of the white textures. gallardo555 452 Posted June 11, 2015 X/R//: Thanks for tip, I will look on it soon. As for ENB, I won't use it since my goal is to make First Builds as compatible as possible, thus I don't use anything other than modified files from vanilla GTA 3. gallardo555 452 Posted June 15, 2015 (OT? I don't know) I just recovered some files from an old hard drive and found there some interesting tidbits from the development of GTA III. As you can see on pictures below, Toni Cipriani was probably going to by named Tony C____S. Another fact worth mentioning are names of some missions that were changed later in the development. Here you can see that missions Don't Spank Ma Bitch Up was originally called Pusher Run. Also, the mission Chaperone where you see Maria for the first time, was originally called Pulp Friction. Interestingly enough, there are similarities between the mission and the movie. On the second picture, you can see that Kanbu Bust-Out was called Breakout, while the Grand Theft Auto mission was called Gone in 60. Also related to a film because of common situations depicted in both the game and the movie. And finally, there's the third screenshot with the mission board, though you can't read nothing on it.
