Sensible crew paints?

I have been playing this game sinch the PS3-launch, but custom crew paints is very new to me.

I have been searching for guides or overviews over good crew-paints, but all I find is extreme and way too bright (in my opinion) Neon-like paints.

Do you know about an overview over more "sensible" paints?

Is it still possible to put crew paints over other paints to get an extra effect (PS4)?

Arrows to Athens

You could apply pearlescents on crew colours for very unique combinations which is no longer possible as of patch 1.17. I have stumbled upon a very nice looking cream/desert tan colour just recently by myself. It does have a bright effect when it is daytime but nothing too neon-like. Here it is: #FFE37F

With regards to crew paints is is a good idea to get the hex and rgb value then input them in a color space converter for rgb to hsv. Gta runs on HSV so lower the saturation and value untill the color isnt as neon

Thank you. I'll try that paint tomorrow.

Can you give me a good link?

It seems to me that all the crew paints I try is non-metallic - or what the game calls "Classic". Can you only get the shiny metallic-effect by adding a pearl - which is not possible anymore?

Crew paints are Utility (hidden color category) not Classic

For finding paibt if you know what it is called i use encycolorpedia to find the hex then use this tool to tweak it
