Random crashes during missions

Hello community.

 

So I was on my way to start the Beverly mission where you have small green circles on the area and the game just froze, it happened 3 times today, twice while trying to do the pot-carrying missions to the dope-addict guy's house and once in the one I already indicated.

 

Did this happen to someone else already? This has been happening to me ever since the last update, it was the first time having this type of performance issues since once I had a really bad texture issue and I don't even know what might be causing these problems.

That type of freezing during missions is about the same for a friend of mine which crashed during jobs online.

And that issue was a corrupt file or files.

 

He reinstalled it and the issue is gone.

It's a pain to reinstall a game this big, i know. But it seems to be the only fix i've found so far regarding random crashes of that kind.

 

An alternative would be to copy over the whole gta 5 folder from a friend and delete everything inside yours manually and then paste the other install over and see if it works.

 

Let me know if it works.

Unfortunately all the guys I play with live far away from me so that is not going to be possible I'm afraid. Either way I haven't tried playing again today and if the issue persists I might send a ticket to Rockstar or in the worst case scenario re-install the whole game again.

Okay, that's too bad.
