Mickmick76
I have recently bought a new stick of ram to give myself a little extra boost making GTA run a bit smoother. I get home and unwrap the stick and whack it in the pc and power it up!!!!!!!! ...nothing out of the ordinary happens and pc starts all well and good like it should. Next I go into my GeForce Experience and bang error...error..error..error I Have no idea what was wrong. Restarted pc as a result, so I try again this time avoiding Geforce/E and going straight to GTAV...cool starts up and just a second after the siren comes up at the beginning it crashes then would not start the game afterwards. So I Power down, checks ram to make sure its in secure and yes it is, removes it fixe's it back in and powers up again. Basically I managed to get it working and I got to see my apartment for about 4 seconds and it crashed again. IM STUCK, taken ram out and had a look about and cant find anything to enlighten me yet and would appreciate a wise person who can send me in the right direction . I can take the ram back if that's the problem. i5 4690k, z97k MB , 8gb ram, gtx760,cx600 psu, the ram I bought is another 8gb which has the same speeds etc as other 8.Ddr3 1600mhz. I have used ram diagnostic too and all seemed fine. Pfffff HELP MEEE
