MysteryX2
Yes its true.. Ive changed totaly everything to max. How can this be possible?? Ive got an overclocked GTX 980 (1477/1180/8002) and 16GB DDR3 @ 1866 Mhz & Intel I7 2600K @ 4.8Ghz Ofcourse i did have a dip sometime to like 40, but that was absolutly not more than 2-3 times.. This game has never run this well on my pc? What has happend? I wish i could make a movie to show, but then i need to use my phone or something, cus else it will decrease the fps alot. FFS.. Grass on Ultra, MSAA on 8X, Post FX on Ultra, AF on 16X, MSAA on 4X (can put it higher when i use TXAA) And on top of that, every Advanced settings is on max too Take a look at these settings.. MysteryX2
You lucky But how? Like two days ago i was running on 40-50 fps, with lower settings, and Grass on Very high.. The only thing i did was to give "GTAV.exe" High priority.. GTAV.exe is taking 60-80% of CPU and 2 802 076kb of RAM. GPU load is 95-99% all time.. Temp is absolutly pro.. 53 degres! THIS IS HOW GTA V SHOULD BE PLAYED!! IM IN LOVE <

interfreak
Yup. There is NO WAY a GTX 980 will play this game at 55-60fps with everything maxed out, particularly 8xMSAA, grass on Ultra and Extended Distance Scaling to Maximum. No way. Your videos prove my point. But as my videos was showing after i did tab the game and uploaded my screens.. 50-60 FPS, and that is very good Just look at the videos.. It cant be fake?? Go drive through Los Santos at speed, and see of you can maintain even 45fps. If you can show that you can maintain 55-60fps in Los Santos (my tip - drive along Vinewood Blvd) then I might believe you. As long as you show the settings in your menu when you do it. Teo265
I'm trying to figure out the purpose of this thread... Did you create this thread just to boast or what? About the settings, did you consider the fact that GTA V's ingame AF is inferior to Nvidia Control Panel's AF? (Source: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/grand-theft-auto-v-pc-graphics-and-performance-guide#grand-theft-auto-v-nvidia-control-panel-anisotropic-filtering) The Nvidia AF makes a clear difference in my opinion, and improves the texture quality greatly. SuperSaiyanHazza
What people here, doenst realize.. Is that GTA V will not run as smooth as everyone thinks. The recommended sysreq if way far from a stable 60FPS in Ultra at 1920x1080. I bet my computer in sign will run the game in 1080P on Ultra (Depends on AA and stuff) from 60-90 FPS.. And as i said. Depends on AA and AO.. Will there be options for Ambient Occlusion? HBAO+? Godrays? SMAA? SSAO? Please, remember my post here, and quote me again when the pc version is out! My PC in sign = Ultra / 1080P @ 60-75FPS (Everything on max) If im wrong.. Im going to give away 3 free copies of GTA V PC version! I would like steam version

mahanddeem
55-60fps 1080p 60Hz on a 980GTX is not a miracle. You have a 550$ card and you play on a 2008 resolution technology. Zapp
nilz45
The big FPS dropper is the grass hills between the Sandy country side and the City, not to mention the woods, so it depends on where you are. In my case I have 60 fps in the City, 60 fps on the countryside and 30 fps on grassy hills. Try record your settings at the Sawmill, it's a good place to benchmark. With this in mind, that the game isn't exactly the same everywhere, you won't get fooled by thinking you have a FPS increase. I don't understand why you did a thread about it though.
