Duplicate Vehicle Entry

Today I was re-arranging my 3 garages, selling some cars, moving some cars around, but some new ones, etc.

 

Anyway, one of the vehicles I purchased was a Turismo R, spent $500k and fully upgraded it (about 200k worth of upgrades). When I got back in my garage I noticed I had two of them. The duplicate took up the last remaining slot in my first garage.

 

"Duplicate" is kind of a misnomer, it's more like the Turismo R took up 2 garage slots. Any upgrades I made to one car would happen to the other, if I blow up one of them I will need to pay for the insurance on both vehicles, etc.

 

Ultimately, I moved car 2 into garage 3, and proceeded to fill up my garage with random cars off the street, so I replaced Car 2 with a random sedan. Low and behold, now I've duplicated the sedan, Turismo 1 & 2 are now replaced with a piece of junk. ~700k loss, and still stuck with the same problem.

 

What do?

 

Edit: just tried selling the car to LS customs, and put a new random car in my garage. No matter what I do I am stuck with a duplicate car. So I guess I am screwed out of one garage slot.

 

Edit 2: I've tried everything, still nothing. From the sound of things, a lot of other players are having the same issue, so I guess it's in Rockstar's hands. Here's hoping it gets fixed in the next patch.
