Blitz heist (spoilers in)

Not sure if I got the name right but anyways, aside from the fact that the game crashes every time on this mission so I can't continue the story, there are some things I don't get:

 

- What was the tow truck for? He just uses it to ram the van, any truck could do really.

 

- What is the getaway vehicle for? All I have to do is drive to wherever it is parked after I lost the cops and get into it. That seems a bit nonsensical, since the game told me to get a fast one and michael needed to know where it was. Did they forget to program the getaway part?

 

- What was the heist for anyway? The cash van was empty and nobody takes any loot.

First, chances are you're using a cracked version. And here's some answers:

 

- It didn't really matter what kind of truck it was. It just popped up in Michael's head. Also, it may be because the mission itself is a clear heavy reference to the movie Heat, but I don't think they used a tow truck in that movie.

 

- The getaway vehicle is just there as an insurance, I guess. If you look at it logically, you'd need one, because as someone who just evaded the cops, you wouldn't want to destroy a garbage truck and then also start stealing a random vehicle on the street. But then again, it's video games.

 

- That's because there is no loot. Pay attention to the story. Nobody knows what it is, except Devin Weston. And I wouldn't classify it as a heist mission, since there's only preparation involved; there's no multiple ways to approach, no freedom in choosing crew members.
