Guest
Nevermind this post, the issue mentioned in the title was solved in a title update. Spoiler In GTA V, the units for the GPS and Stunt Jumps are in miles or feet when the language is set to English, and in kilometers or meters with other languages. I want to keep the language as English, but use metric units. In GTA San Andreas, the situation was similar, but I managed to get around it easily. In the "text" folder I replaced "german.gxt" with a copy of "american.gxt" that I had renamed "german.gxt". I selected German in the language menu in options. In-game, all the text stayed in English, but the units in wheelies and insane stunt bonuses etc were changed from feet to meters. I used OpenIV to browse the files of GTA V and found that the texts are stored inside "american_rel.rpf" and "german_rel.rpf" files in gxt2 format. Could a similar approach work in GTA V like in San Andreas? (Or is there a smarter way...?) Edited January 10 by ejoty
