[Q] first person mode problems

when i go in first person mode,i automatically start a jog and can't disable it. anybody know if there's a setting for this or...?

If I remember correctly when using the keyboard, the SHIFT key will switch from walking to running while in FP.

only enables sprint. thanks for the effort though.

It depends what you carry or what you wear and where you are. There will be times you wish you can jog or sprint, but you are forced to walk. Certain interiors that are large take forever to traverse in FP mode because you cannot trot like you can trot in some third person interiors for example. Seems more common to be walk-only in first person than in third person, some third person walking area that let you trot, don't let you trot in first person. Can feel very slow some places, where you can switch to 3rd and then trot.

In FP mode for me my character jogs when pressing W or forward on my stick, and holding shift enables sprinting, and i usually jog everywhere, thought that was normal ?

Even the same on the ps4 version.

 

Just pressing the stick a little bit enables walking, not sure how to walk on the keyboard though except for indoors where the characters always walk in FP mode except when holding shift.

if you move the stick only a little, it'll walk like niko did.

so you're stuck in jogging mode until you go to third person?

probably just my assassin's creed habits kicking in but it would surely be nice to not scare everyone off the sidewalk just to go get some clothes.
