coolman559
Whenever I Hold A Key Of The Keyboard For E.g Holding W To Walk I Would Experience Lock Ups Like Wont Be Able To Turn Left Or Right Or Even Stop It Would Only Stop To Like The Number Of Seconds The Key Is Hold Even After I Release The Key. Same With Driving Which Is Much More Worse. Just Wanna See Anyone Is Having This Problem And Have A Fix For It. Tried The Mouse Setting Of Changing It To Windows Or Direct Input.Which Only Windows Is Having Shorter Intervals While Direct Input Make It Much Worse. RedDagger
Hm, all I can suggest is turning down settings in case your game isn't responding quickly. Apart from that, try sending a ticket to Rockstar support.
TheMostKnowledgable
Are you experiencing low fps overall, even when not trying to move?
The Alster
Hi Yea I get the exact same thing - I have tried reducing the graphics and even a new keyboard/mouse combo - still locks up Usually driving, often just does a hard right turn - only way out of it is to press and release the key again ... but means driving fast is not an option!! I have an almost new PC - mega spec so no issues with performance - running Windows 8.1 Any other ideas?

The Alster
Ok - I found a fix for this It seems like my keyboard / mouse USB dongle keeps getting polled. So - I start the game - then unplug the keyboard dongle, wait a few secs then plug it in again - the annoying 8 seconds USB disconnect sound disappears and the game becomes PLAYABLE! So looks like its a keyboard / mouse driver problem (this happens when I use a Microsoft or Logitech keyboard set - I tried both and both behave like this)
