Have they messed around with the mission Base Invaders?

I just attempted it and I got a 5 star wanted level - and no RP for kills!

Just complete the mission and you'll get cup of cash and a bag of reps.

I noticed you dont get RP for killing cops and soldiers after heist update and five stars are easy in this mission

Yes, they did and that's not only with this mission. In Base invaders you're not rewarded for killing soldiers anymore and 5 stars wanted level is limited to military base only and infinite spawn will stop after you or teammate will get the chopper.

I wouldn't know, I've never fired a shot in Base Invaders and always got a five star wanted level when I exploded the Lazers.

Still one of my favorite missions to solo!

5 stars added nothing to Base Invaders just flashing on your minimap.

I've played it a few times, cleared out the entire base with my Savage, landed, hop into bob, get back into Savage, destroy tank, back into bob, fly away.

The missile still plays out exactly like before heist. Only difference really is no rp for killing soldiers now.

they have only removed the rp for killing cops/soldiers in a couple of missions which where used alot for grinding rp (i.e. base invaders or blow up 2).

in other missions you still get rp for killing enemies (not sure about cops).

Are npc respawns infinite in that mission? Never had the patience to check. Plus I only solo'd it once before the heists update (more now I have an armoured kuruma).

NPC spawns never was, and still are not infinite.

They do respawn several times over, it'll take some time to get through em. But hover at distance in a Savage or Buzzard and just blast away with rockets. In 7-10 minutes (if that) you should get through all ai's.

Just clear out 1 section till they stop spawning, clear next till they stop spawning, etc. Just don't fire rockets inside the hangar, those guys only spawn once so sniper them few.

that's not totally right.

they used to spawn infinite before the update.

that's why this mission was used for rp-grinding (i.e. with a buzzard).

just look up some older "unlimited rp" videos of base invaders on youtube.

the rp grinding was the reason for rockstar to remove the rp per kill and the infinite spawn in this and some other missions which were used for unlimited rp grinding.

I think you would have got more RP by doing Base Invaders quickly without firing a shot and then did Cleaning the Cat house.

Finite spawns has been around for a LONG time (long before the payout rebalance)! Anyway, I believe the details are six spawn points that generate nine soldiers each, plus the three in the hangar, one tank driver, and three (?) barracks with four each.

Anyway, the wanted level is meaningless, as it doesn't spawn any cops or anything.

They never spawned infinitely.

It was about 50, then no more.

ten-a-penny

People still do missions?

Yes. F*ck the heists - its nearly impossible to join one, and if you do, you find dumbasses screwing over the dumbest sh*t.

They were never infinite, on hard currently there's about 62? Soldiers. It's never ever been infinite, was less before the hanger opened. Very fun mission if you take your time and kill everyone with small weapons. I guess rockstar believed all the forum noobs saying it was infinite hence the nerf but really it never was. If it ever was infinite then it was a long, long time ago. Like the first few months of the games release. Because I been playing for around 2 years and that mission was never infinite in my time.

You must have played a pre-release version as the game hasn't been out that long yet
