"Quitting session" taking too long

Normally, when I choose to leave GTA Online, it's show the loading circle along with "Quitting session" and it only takes a couple of seconds. Today, it's been taking forever and quitting session will stay there for over 5 minutes, forcing me to just close the application.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Nope. But if you want to quit GTAO and the entire game itself even quicker, simply put on a helmet or buy some body armor and wait a few seconds for the game to save, then quit application.
