TheXtreemo
Hello guys. I've got a trouble; I've acidentally deactivated the frame limiter when I wanted to increase the draw distance of the game. Once I did that, the game doesn't runs normally anymore. The menu Frames went to 0-3, and that makes it barely possible to do anything. I did re-activate the frame limiter after rejoining the game and set it on after, kinda, 15 minutes with 0-3 FPS. But the game IS still NOT possible to play or do anything when i start it. The FPS didn't got back to 30 on the menus, neither I can play the game since it doesn't goes above 4 FPS. NO, I didn't install any other mods before or after I did that (the last mod I've installed was 2 weeks ago). I've already tried to delete the savegames AND the GTA San Andreas User Files folder, but it also did not work. I also tried to run my Backup GTASA's in other folders, but it also did not work. What can I do? Or also, what can I do on the game directory files to make it get back to normal, since inside the game it's impossible to do anything? lil weasel
Modding problems belong in the modding forums. First we presume you don't have a stolen (warez/torrent/pirated) game, because they can have unfixable problems of their own. Install the game using "Admin Privileges". Into a computer with these stats: Recommended System Requirements for GTA: San Andreas: • Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP processor (or better) • XP, Vista, Windows 7. • 384(+) MB of RAM • 16x DVD-ROM drive (or download [which I do not recommend] • 4.7 GB of free Hard Disk space for a full install • ★128(+) MB Video Card with DirectX 9 compatible drivers ("GeForce4" or better) • DirectX 9 compatible Surround Sound Card • Keyboard & Mouse • <Optional> GamePad with twin axis analog controls (USB or Joystick Port) (Not a console controller) ** I suggest 12 buttons minimum. I use the Logitech Dual Action ™, as it works straight from the box without any special drivers. Seitek also nice. Attempting to use console controllers may take hours to find the right driver(s) and then still not work.
Silent
That's surely odd. If you have removed User Files dir already the settings are bound to be back to normal. Are you sure you didn't change anything like GPU driver settings for gta_sa.exe? Edited April 22, 2015 by Silent
