SavageSpud Posted April 21, 2015 Share Posted April 21, 2015 I was playing for a while on a new character I created after signing up with a new account within Social Club for the GTA 5 PC release. I then after a few days decided to transfer over my Playstation Network character, where I am level 101, which worked perfectly. But now I just wanted to switch back to the new character I created when signing up with Social Club and he is not there anymore? Is this supposed to happen?.... JTO168 Posted April 21, 2015 Share Posted April 21, 2015 If you search Rockstar's support site, there is detailed information on character transfer and its implications. You have stated that you started playing GTA Online (PC) with a brand new character and then you performed the character transfer. According to Rockstar, if you transfer your character over and you already have existing GTA Online character on PC (or other console) - that existing aka "new" character will be erased. Verbatim: Please note: Any existing PC GTA Online character and progression data will be replaced by your previous character and progression data during the transfer, except for any existing in-game money, which will be combined with your transferred balance.
