complex vs simple reticle?

Can't freaking see the dot in the first 1 hour of Sept 17th of 2013. Changed to complex after that and never changed.

I honestly use both and switch occasionally. They're both fine, personal preference. I'm on Complex now.

Simple. easier for me to nail headshots since the dot covers the enemys face rather than the complex which puts lines jutting out of it. I do prefer the smg recital though To the regular one.

It really just comes down to the size and resolution of your monitor or screen.

 

I used a 46 inch screen on last gen (720p) and the large size of the simple dot blocked the target, and therefore complex made it much easier to see. When I got on next gen, I switched to simple (1080p) because the clarity and smaller size of the dot was of greater resolution, and I could see it much better this time around. Simple makes it easier to target headshots, whereas complex is more useful in modes like free-aim, where fire spread can be advantageous.

Simple. Used complex the whole time I played single player, but when I started playing online about 8 months ago I realized it was a lot easier to get headshots with simple. At first I was frustrated because like many have commented, it gets lost in the background easily. Now that I am pretty used to it though, this is never an issue for me. I'm still last gen too, so I'm still using the tiny dot.
