How Do You View Online Free Roam Players?

Normal thought process -

 

White Blip - Leave alone.

 

Bounty - Kill

 

Griefer - Kill (Noone likes being in front of the barrels of these assholes, and it also helps show that I'm still on top in the session)

 

Blip who killed Me - Kill 1-6 times until I feel satisfied.

 

Red Blip - Identify if he/she is constantly killing people or trying to act tough. If neither, avoid.

 

 

 

Now, if I'm really pissed off/redblip and to lazy to wait for it to go away/Just in a bad mood overall..

 

White Blip - Kill once if comes near me.

 

Bounty - Kill.

 

Griefer - Kill once if it comes near me.

 

All AirVehicles - Lock onto with guided launcher if comes near me, if proceeds to stay, fire.

 

Red Blip - Kill once if it comes near me.

 

Blip Who Killed Me - You're gonna die. A lot. A lot a lot.

Do people not realise that your mental state goes back down to normal after a few hours? I don't even bother taking into account the colour of someone's blip because it means literally nothing.

Red dot or white dot, doesnt matter. As a max red youre back to shining white after a day anyway.

Everyone kills you, even the PC version with its chat cant stop the kill on sight kids.

I don't tend to kill unless provoked or if they have a bounty, however if anyone comes near me on free roam I whip my gun out as a way to say "just keep walking", which actually works quite well xD

 

If I see a red dot heading my way, I'll get into cover and kill him/her when they're within killing distance

honestly it depends how bored I am. If im really bored might kill someone hoping he'll chase me down to get that kill back. Have you ever been chased and your too good a driver for that poor shmuck and leave him in the dust and find yourself waiting for him to catch up or driving close to him just so he dosent give up on the chase? Well I do it all the time.

 

More than not though im very cautious. i've had numerous occasions where i've slowed the car down (never completely stop the car if you want to survive) and have been shot at. Those people i usually kill until they leave the session.

 

But if you notice the people on gta online are disgusting vulgar creatures. i've performed social experiments to find out how many gta players behave around shoppers and afk-ers. oddly enough there are many people who would repeatedly kill an afk-er... they would wait for you too respan over and over again like its a fun thing to do.

I don't go into public session. If I get thrown into one, I leave. If I need to stay for some reason, I drive in Kuruma or Insurgent and avoid everyone. If someone is following me, I give them a chance but if they appear hostile or stupid, I shoot.

 

But most of the time I get fragged anyway while I mind my own business.

 

I don't understand you people... Why do you hunt down and and shoot/blow up someone who is obviously getting out of your way? Makes me wonder how would real life look without rules and with infinite respawning. 99% of FR citizens are incredible morons.

when i log into gtao i do it with only 1 thing in mind... kill everything in my way!

 

i dont care if youre red dot or white dot, if your level 3 or level 3000, if your kd is .69 or 6.90 if your on my route, chances are you gonna have some of my bullet heading your way.

Here's a open question to the community of GTA Online: How do you view or treat players in Free Roam?

 

Do you hunt down people unprovoked?

 

Do you only kill when provoked?

 

What do you think the other person is thinking? Killing or being killed?

 

Do you find it fun or aggravating?

 

These are just examples. But I want to hear your opinions, views of GTA Online. I'd also like to keep this free of any hate or bashing. After all, it is a game you play for fun.

 

I usually keep to myself. I will attack if provoked, usually just once and leave it at that. When I am bored, however, I will follow people, not attacking them. I find it funny to seem them run, or turn around because they want a piece of my fat ass.

Probably that. I've killed many hydra pilots piss easy in a Lazer, you just need to exploit the fact that the Lazer can perform quicker maneuvers. The Lazer has an ever-so-slight advantage most of the times, but as we know most jet griefers are horrendous whenever another jet flies near them.

IKR, Most griefers i've approached jump out and i'm like "what? you don't want to fight someone with equal firepower?", either that or I can catch a fault in their maneuver and blast em to next respawn

I don't fire upon anyone that hasn't been aggressive. Shooting at me, trying to run me over, pulling a gun out while nearby me... all these are great ways to get yourself shot. One of the upsides of playing on auto-aim is that you can usually kill anyone else faster than they can kill you.

I got a $9K bounty on me after stealing an NPC's car.

 

Some guy chased me down for several minutes and finally managed to kill me after repeated attempts.

 

After he killed me i ran up to him and gave him a salute from across the street. He gave me a salute as well.

 

I jumped into his car and we proceeded to run around for a bit and complete a few missions and actually have a good time.

 

I know 110% for a fact that if i ended someone with a bounty on them they would have reacted as though i spat on their mother and continue to hunt me down no matter what.

 

Rockstar needs to implement some kind of matchmaking system where less violent players are put into free roam lobbies with other non violent players. It doesn't have to be mandatory or lock you from joining a server (ala bad sport), but it would help.

I used to be that person who would be nice and helpful to other players in Freeroam. Now not so much, because 9/10 the blimp coming toward you is only looking to Kill you then run away. So I tend to stay away from everyone else and mind my own. Unless I feel like starting chaos.

I'll initiate a gunfight with the closest player/players to me.

 

My intention isn't to grief. Im just looking for an adversary better than me to sharpen my skills.

 

I try to fight with honor. Use vehicles to get to players not as weapons. Keep the fight on foot. Don't use explosives, bulletproof helmet, or the auto shotty. Haven't owned a minigun for around a year maybe.

 

If they seem like they don't want to fight, go into passive, or attempt to leave the area I'll move on. If they get upset or try to offend me in voice chat or messages I'll leave.

 

It's always pleasant to make friends with an opponent after a tough gunfight.

 

I kinda glorify it a bit. Comparing it to a samurai travelling the land searching for a worthy opponent. Or an outlaw in the wild west challenging the best gunman around to a duel.

 

The freeaim pvp in this game is the most fun I've ever had in a multiplayer game :]
