UltimateAntic
Anytime when I try to launch the game, I get greeted by an error stating that it exited unexpectedly and that I can try to relaunch it or start in Safe Mode. Specs: Intel i5 3.3 GHz AMD 7860M Anybody know how a workaround?
cosmicdance
I had this problem with the non-Steam version so had to validate the .rpf files in the GTA V folder manually. If you have the Steam version then you can get it to validate the files automatically. I found a very useful guide on the Rockstar forums on how to do this. There is a free program that I downloaded which validates the checksum of all the .rpf files so any that don't match just re-download. I found 3 files in my folder that didn't match so I re-downloaded them and the game worked fine after that. I'm at work at the moment but if you PM me I can send you the link to the program and the list of checksums for the files when I get home so that you can hopefully ge your game working.
