Steam friends showing offline

Slight issue and need some help

I bought GTA 5 PC from CD Keys and they gave me a code to buy it from the Social Club. Now when i'm online with my friends and can see friends who bought it the same way i did but i cant see friends who bought it through Steam!

Now my friend who bought it through steam can see me online and invite me but i cant see him, also my other friend who bought it the same way i did has the same issue.

Any ideas!?

You need to be more specific. If you bought a CDKEY and registered it through Rockstar Social Club, what does it have to do with Steam?

 

You need to manually add friends into RGSC by pressing the [Home] key on your keyboard while in game. Your Steam friends list is not connected to RGSC.

No, CD Keys is a website. Which gave me a key for rockstar social club. What does it have to do with steam? well like i said my friend bought his through steam he is the one showing offline. I have manually added him to rockstar social club through the home page that's were he is showing offline... But my other friend who bought it the same way i did, I can see him online fine and he see's me, he is also having the same issue i am as he can't see our friend who got it through steam either....
