Steam linking of GTA V

I've purchased GTA V directly via Rockstar, and I thought it would be as easy as linking "Add non-steam game to Library". But it seems to exit when launching the PlayGTAV.exe (or GTAVLauncher.exe)

Is there anyway to have it launch in Steam properly?
