....People STILL have problems with them? Obviously d/c and heist members leaving are not a problem that can be seen in advance if with randoms but seriously the amont of players at decent levels who cannot grasp the basics is frightening and I think the game cannot be for them if they are struggling this much.

Last night I was with 3 randoms on "Deliver EMP" and the level 88 tells me in his mic "I have been on this for 4 days now with loads of people and we cannot do it even on easy" so I oin with them and see the problem straight away - they DO NOT LISTEN and go in hard on a stealth mission.

In the end I tell him I will do it myself just to get him through it and instruct the other 3 players to stay well away up the mountain while I deliver the EMP and take out the guards and scientists.

Seriously, all you have to do is LISTEN to instructions.

Apart from the first heist I haven't been able to play the others. Can't be arsed starting the second one because waiting. Joined others only to wait, then the host leaves. I can make mo moneh grinding missions. Heists is just a load of lobby screens, waiting and getting bored. Plus 4 players minimum is annoying.

There seems to be a disease afflicting a large part of the population, whereby they are immune to on-screen text or voiceover instruction.

They chat sh*t on the mic all the way to the mission, then have zero f*cking clue what they're supposed to do (or, more often, not do). Then they fail and blame the mission, or Rockstar, or anyone except themselves.

that missions is very easy to fail if you dont know the order in which the guards have to be killed.

Dude, you don't have to tell me. Needed to finish wetwork on my 2nd chat so I end up with 3 guys that are all level 150+. "Great" I say to myself, we should get it done. I'm assigned to snipe the lawyers. Little do I know that I have a front row seat on how to fail this simple sniper mission 5 times by the level 178 douche bag assigned as my partner.

Hit a new low yesterday, doing the Casco/Police Station setup - two of us on the Casco team were cleaning up with no issues, when another blip shows up on the radar: one of the Police team apparently wanted to 'help' with the combat, and so decided to join us...

Guy dies almost as soon as he's on the boat - mission failed, guy quits, rest of us get kicked back out to Freemode. I don't even know... :dontgetit:

I've been asking for it for over a year now, but now it's urgent: A quick messaging system, like BF4 or whatever.

"Come here"

"Stay there"

"Hold fire"

"Get in my helicopter, you're driving to Paleto Bay you f*ckwit"

..and so on.

Is this The Guy?

I only went through Deliver EMP once and it was a few days ago.

Some dude said stay back and he'll handle it so I just stayed in the Insurgent until it was time to drive into the garage. Easy money lol

Many players have a run & gun mentality. It's extremely hard for them to play slow & smart when the situation requires them to do so. Things like taking cover or focusing on protecting someone else instead of trying to get a lot of kills doesn't feel natural for them. These players are destened to fail in most of their attempts to complete all the heists. The tragedy is that these players truly don't understand that they simply don't play a smart game & they don't want to hear that they are not Rambo.

Lol.. sorry, have to laugh but I had the opposite experience with the crew I got together the other night, I said to them to give me the first chane to go and do it single handedly and if I failed we'd do it normally.. everyone was cool with it and I cleared the area in about three minutes if that... and we got out in the van, job done...

People just don't seem to understand the plans for these things tbh and don't realise stealth is the name of the game.. specially the silenced combat shotgun.. :D

Honestly the one setup that pisses me off more than anything is the key codes ones. It's so goddamn f*cking simple and straight forward yet 90% of the time someone dies on the second wave of enemies or just as I pick up the suitcase. Like seriously? How?! I can do the mission without taking a single bullet.

Playing with randoms makes me want to whip my controller through my tv.

I've done same with the heist fail and thinking the same that these people have high ranks so they should know which end is up. I was in with some guys running the EMP and this guy keeps on using a non supressed weapon. I tell him over and over then another guy starts sniping different people in different places, not in sequence as needed. Then they start shooting the 2 guys by the insurgent as the other insurgent is driving by. I told them I was out. I wasn't doing a thing and let them learn what they are doing wrong on their own. Then when they finally get it. I get in the linen truck, I say ok everyone in here and don't do a thing! 1 of them starts to get in the insurgent across from me. I had to ram the truck as he was about to get in just for him to listen.

I'm not saying all but this is why alot of people get in this forum and ask why no body wants to play with me on my heist. This is why. If I get in a heist and you have no mic that is immediate removal of you no questions asked. Sorry!

Especially when....

_____ alerted Merryweather

_____ alerted Merryweather

_____ alerted Merryweather

_____ alerted Merryweather

_____ quit

And now back to the long ass drive........ at least Finale is next

And to those who shoot in Flares....... um, hello? It's STEALTH not showing off that we're here

Either they had mics or being on a PC maybe they more of an adult than pre puberty adolescent on a console. I look at PC gamers as being older.

This is true.

In fact I did all heists when they released them without using my mic with no problems at all.(From my part).

But the wierd thing is what the op is saying. After all this time you expect almost everyone to know how to play heists, what is the plan ext.

But it seems to me that now there are more people failing not just because they die (it is possible to happen) in combact but they fail because they dont have a clue about the mission. If a new player (low level,no experience, never played heists before) fails because he do not understand that in the Deliver EMP needs to go stealthy (the first time he plays it) it is something that I will accept(in the first attempt)

But if I see a level +100 who talks over the mic about how good he is and how safe "his plan" is in the P bank (like talking about 5 min that we all need to get to a car,or his car,you get my point) and he dies 5-10 times while you are in the bike and dont die once and in the same time you hear him rage over the mic because you are ruining his "perfect plan" and it is your fault because you dont follow "his plan" then something is wrong.

Even worse then the most simple missions (like getting to the Police station to get the schedule) is meshed up by someone who is "level 150" and the moment he arrives there he starts shootting at every cop on sight. And after he dies you hear him say something like "Sorry guys, they got me but I'll kill them all this time" when you are ready to restart the set up.

I know that some people are just trolling or fooling around. But not every one who fails in the most stupid way is a troll.

And even if I dont like it the fact is that every one who says "Dont do heists with randoms" have a point. You'll never know who is playing the heist with you and IF he can actually finish even the most simple task.

Look at the "Vans" set up for the PS job - people say you need mics and a driver and navigator - erm, you can do it with ONE PERSON in about 4 minutes

More or less why I have stopped playing. In Isolation the Heists Content is OTT for a "Free" Update. However when you start trying to string playing Heists together (without having a consistent crew to play with which would be the case for most Player's), they become a mess...

Also, since when have people learnt anything in this game?...Rooftop Rumble even after the changes and pay re-balancing for example.

This - it's like everyone wants to be the team's 'one-man army' (not helped by the frankly pointless medal system - I don't care about who wants platinum, if it means them screwing over the team effort... :rol: ).

Or worse, it's like kids fighting over who gets the longest turn on whatever in the playground ("but I wanna go on the swing!") - for example, I joined a bunch of rank 70 > players, none of whom had any decent flying skill, doing the Humane Labs 'Valkyrie' setup, and every time, you'd have a scramble over who got the fly the darn thing. Went through all three of them in rotation several times, with whoever it was either trying to run from the Merryweather choppers (you know, the ones you're meant to shoot down, like it says in the instructions...), or spin around wildly, preventing the gunners getting a clear shot at the enemy. Watched the Valkyrie get blown up at least half a dozen times - like 'Groundhog Day', but for morons...

Eventually, I gestured to let me fly the bloody chopper, and it's remarkable how much better things went when the pilot angles the Valkyrie to let the gunners aim the f***ing guns at something. Whole thing done in under five minutes - it's a piece of cake, provided you read the instructions and have some common sense. :facedesk:

I join random heists daily. I like to see how others are doing them in hopes of learning new tactics per set-up. Sometimes you can actually find new friends along the way, so it is worth my while doing random heists.

The tell tail sign for me, if the host does not set outfits to "player saved". That's pretty much a dead give away that we are destined to fail, especially on PSJ Finale. Just yesterday I joined a PSJ Finale where to host was keeping 70% for himself. I lol'd and said sure, why not ? We are going to fail anyways so you can set it for 100% if you'd like. Because 100% of nothing equals nothing. Sure enough, the two low level guys ( single digits ) kept getting cheesed up as soon as we left the bank. They both shot several hostages. It was worth a chuckle. I then told the host, next time, put it on player saved outfits and do not be so damn greedy.

It is however baffling as to how dumb some players truly are. It does make you wonder who ties their shoes for them. I often wonder how many of these people that do not use mic's, even have it set to not hear others. The pacific standard van heist is has me shaking my head often.

I have zero expectations of completing random heists. I do them for pure entertainment and possible friend/knowledge gained, if any at all.

i had a host continually suicide at the final paracute/jump on the pacific bank heist finale. We were all in the boat and all he had to do was drive down the valley.

Nope. Suicided somehow repeatedly .

I'm waiting a while to do the heists, first, so I can level up some (or quite a bit) and secondly, because I don't have a mic. (Cuz 1) I'm just starting out in online and 2) I'm broke as hell) but I already watched videos of them being done, read advice on how to do them, etc etc etc, so that when I do start, I can get it done.

Something tells me it's a long road ahead. . .
