combat mg vs assault rifles?

Just wondering if the combat mg has any advantage over the assault rifles other than the 200 round drum magazine.

I prefer the assault rifle, feels better in every scenario

The MG has too much spread but its big ass round drum certainly lets you spray at longer distances so you get the kill

The Combat Mg's rounds seem to be more powerful. But I prefer Assault Rifles overall.

Too much sway on the machine guns.

The problem with the MG is that it makes NPC's ragdoll around and it can be annoying, and in certain situations, it can lead to your ultimate demise *dramatic speech*

it was my favourite weapon, until the spread was increased

The only thing it's good for is firing at a car a player is hiding behind and having your bullets actually push the car enough that it forces the other players character to stand up.

Combat MG is for killing groups of people beacuse of bullet spread.

I prefer MGs, but for some reason i always pull out my Carbine.

MG for free aim range, no silencer is a pity though. Gusenberg still rocks hardest though.
